‘Left, Right & Center’: Debt Commission; Obama’s Overseas BustPosted on Nov 12, 2010
The commission to study how to get federal debt under control floated a trial balloon when it released recommendations by Alan Simpson and Erskine Bowles ... and it seems that just about nobody likes or believes what they’re saying. Also this week: Obama went to Indonesia, South Korea and the G-20 summit and came back empty-handed. Is the thrill gone? And what manner of Beast will Newsweek become under Tina Brown’s guidance? Tune in below for this week’s “Left, Right & Center” with special conservative guest David Winston sitting in for Tony Blankley. KCRW:

The “Commission” is recommending a reduction in the Veterans Administration benefits as a way to reduce the deficit. Of course they didn’t recommend an end to the USG created wars as a way to reduce the deficit because it is common sense. By stopping the creation of unnecessary wars it would also reduce the need for Pentagram funding but of course this is “not on the table” because its what makes sense and the only sense the USG has is nonsense.

The commission to study how to get federal debt under control is a big waste of time. The real problem is getting politicians to lay taxes on the wealthy.
