‘Left, Right & Center’: Bernanke and the Busted Economy, Perry in the Polls, Cheney’s BookPosted on Aug 26, 2011
Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke confirmed the obvious in a news conference this week: The federal debt limit and the summer scuffle over what to do about it strained the nation’s economy. But he failed to mention how the Fed might assist in the creation of jobs for down-and-out Americans. Elsewhere, presidential candidate Rick Perry surged ahead in the polls and the reading public braced for the release of former Vice President Dick Cheney’s memoir. So now, instead of capital punishment or a long prison sentence that anyone else would get for the multiple crimes and atrocities he committed, Cheney gets to make more millions off of his sewer scum of a book. As long as this pile of human pus is free, those who can prosecute but ignore this vile thug are also criminals.
