Larry King to Eric Massa: ‘Are You Gay?’Posted on Mar 10, 2010
Larry King got right to the point in his interview with former Congressman Eric Massa on Tuesday’s “Larry King Live,” asking Massa directly if he was gay. This was a question Massa was not about to answer, because, as he informed his confused host, “It insults every gay American ... it somehow classifies people.” Oh. —KA Gay Agenda: Advertisement CommentsAre you a Truthdig member yet? Yes, this is an inappropriate question. The appropriate one could be “Are you INSANE???” or “When did you go off your meds?”

Report thisDaily Dose of Style is back in full swing and ready to tackle on new fashion dilemmas, season standouts and much more! Today, let’s take on a personal issue of mine. The problem: I’m in a wardrobe rut and have been for the past several weeks. You ever have those periods of time where you hate everything in your closet, or absolutely bored of it? Ugh! And since I’m still recovering from my holiday spending (ahem, over-spending), I can’t just splurge on new clothes to solve my apparel angst. The solution: Layering! Playing with layers can produce outfits for you that feel totally new. I have to admit I haven’t mastered this form of art yet. I need to schedule some playtime in my closet in fact. Look below. This is what I’m taking about. Topping your old dress with a cardigan, vest and scarf updates a once-drab dress… and makes the outfit all the more interesting! How do you layer? Tell me below! Stay tuned by the way for bccloth Shopping’s Guide to Layering coming in February!

I think it is insulting to ask someone on national TV if they are gay. It seems like every media, talk show host, celebrity, whatever… wants to know who is gay and who is not. Why is that?
To some individuals, their sexuality is a matter of privacy. I am glad that Eric Massa told Larry King off here because it is none of anyone’s business what Eric’s sexuality is. In fact, it is none of anyone’s business what anyone’s sexuality is anyhow. If an individual wants people to know what his sexuality is, he will tell you. Nothing upsets me more then when a person “outs” someone else.
