Jon Stewart’s Not Buying What the Vatican’s SellingPosted on Apr 8, 2010
As allegations of sexual abuse by Catholic clergy members continue to challenge the church, the Vatican, according to a visibly agitated Jon Stewart, has failed to respond appropriately, instead adopting a victim stance with the Western media as its persecutor. Quick—cue the kitten footage!

“Martin Luther said that 500 years ago” and then turned around and sold it himself.
The same old Bullshit about god.
Religion is about power and control not love and forgiveness. The Vatican is the last of the great city states. It uses the fear of a myth to collect taxes from people living in every country on earth, takes pennies from mothers who don’t have enough to feed their kids and gives them Bullshit in return.
What exactly are you saying Grant?
Are you saying that it was gods plan for those kids to be raped so that he could work his wonders here on earth?
How many calories are in a serving of holy water?

I live in Canada so more frequently now when I “click” on a video clip, I’m greeted with “Not available in Canada” or, in this case, “In Canada, Comedy Central videos are available on The Comedy Network.”
And when I “click” to go there, I’m met with pages of stuff having nothing to do with what I wanted to see.
This internet is rapidly becoming as censored and anal retentive and therefore as nearly useless and manipulative as the rest of our sick society.
What’s really frustrating, though, is that the vast majority either don’t mind being used and abused by those in “control” or are just too stupid to even realize it’s happening.
Just like those who do “buy” what the Vatican’s selling.

REF: SAMPSON
On the other hand, what has Jon Daly or Sampson done for billions of needy families and wayward children over the centuries? It continues to this very moment by those such as Mother Angelica and many devoted and sainted individuals.
Jon Daly is no saint, he is a snarky entertainer who contributes little to nothing for those in need. He doesn’t even contribute to urging fallen souls to struggle on, he never has a good word for anyone that I can recall. He mocks weak souls and smirks at those who struggle to help.
There may be money in what he does but there is little common decency, let alone anything to admire. His cannot be considered a higher calling, his is the essence of what fuels this once proud nation’s plague of immorality and depravity.
Jon Daly is no role model, nor is anyone who fails to understand the nature of this issue. This Sampson cannot yet see the difference. But they blinded Sampson and, in turn, in a rage he pulled down the columns of the temple. All that rage, hate and depravity serves no good purpose.

Excuse the vulgarity, but I must answer Grant’s comment,
All the media “mudslinging” could never, ever equal the pain one catholic child felt as he was forced to suck a priests cock.
Anyone who gives money to, or supports in any way, the Catholic church, is aiding and abetting child molestation and should be treated as such.

I get so weary of the relentless mudslinging
tactics of snarky jon daily propaganda. Everybody
knows its real purpose and they are not laughing.
Typical stereotypical attacks and thinly disguised
Report thisas comedy. It only serves to draw a line in the sand. Ultimately, we will see who is the last man standing. Nothing funny about that.

I’m reminded of lovely couplet from my youth
(no, I’m not Jewish, but some of my best friends are, and well…it’s catchy!)
I saw the pope, swinging from a rope
