John Oliver Makes an ‘Honest’ Ad for General Motors Using Words Execs Banned From Using Post Recall

Relying on phrases that the “Last Week Tonight” host describes as demon sex “safe words,” John Oliver created a hilarious ad for the automobile company that’s been responsible for hundreds of deaths due to defects in its cars. The list, leaked from a public relations meeting the company recently held, is titled “Judgement Words” and includes such gems as “death trap,” “rolling sarcophagus” and “you’re toast.”

Watch as the comedian flawlessly weaves these terms into his “kevorkianesque” faux ad:
