Its typical of those who claim their special relationship to God makes

As one of their General’s put it a long time ago , “israel must act like a

The Israeli ambassador to the US claimed that the commando raid was

Israelis are terrorists who wantonly slaughter unarmed civilians and then like the true hypocrites that they are, pretend to “regret” the loss of life.

It’s a shame our hard-earned tax money goes to these criminals.  They also get free health care while we go without.  They will just get a slap on the wrist from Zionist-controlled Obama, if at all.

Beautifully put as always.

It reminds me of the 2006 Lebanon war when Israel bombed the apartment block in Qana.  The Israeli spokeswoman appeared on CNN saying how deeply sorry Israel was for the loss of life (not sorry for what Israel did) but then insisted that Israel would not hesitate to do it again.

rfidler,

“Correct me if I’m wrong”

With pleasure.

1.Israel blockades the Gaza coast to prevent non-humanitarian aid from entering Gaza unmonitored
Correction:  Israel is preventing sufficient humanitarian aid getting through.  Wheelchairs for example.
2. Egypt shares a border with Gaza. Correct.
3. Egypt prevents non-humanitarian aid from entering Gaza, hence the existence of tunnels to circumvent to border checks.
Correction:  Egypt is ordered to block everything from entering Gaza, by the US and Israel.
4. Israel and Egypt have no restrictions on humanitarian aid entering Gaza through their official border crossings.
Correction:  Shelter constitutes humanitarian aid and Israel is blocking building materials from getting through.
5. Ships carrying humanitarian aid for Gaza routinely stop at Haifa and have their cargos inspected for weapons and other non-humanitarian aid goods.
Correction:  Any ships carrying humanitarian aid for Gaza are seized by Israel.
6. Once shipments are screened for non-humanitarian items, they are transported to Gaza. There is no limit.
Correction:  Israel withholds a great deal of the humanitarian items,. Which is why children in Gaza are suffering from malnutrition.  Sharon called it putting Gaza on a diet.
7. The ships were carrying humanitarian aid; medicine, food, tools, etc.
8. If they really wanted the aid to reach Gaza, they would have stopped at Haifa, like all other ships do.
Except that Israel have demonstrated that they routinely confiscate such aid.
9. The ships were actually on a provocation mission.
Correction: Israel considered humanitarian mission to be provocative.  Such is the sick and disturbed psychosis of Zionism.
10. The Israelis handled the situation badly.
Correction:  Israel’s aim was to send a message to anyone else thinking of challenging the blockade.  Israel targeted the Turkish ship for a specific reason.
What the Israelis wanted to do to those “Muslims,” those so called “terrorists, Hamas, Al-Qaeda types,” sort of really confront them and slap them in the face. “How dare those Turkish scum do this?” They are trying to to cement it to the so-called “war on terror,” to show that Israel is the “master” of those inferior people. The other boats which had more anglo saxon white as the driven snow activists did not fit into that frame, so they just disabled the boats.
With the Turkish they want to show who wears the pants in the region and teach them a lesson
a)  Turkey has become increasingly critical of Israel, and we know that Israel will turn on anyone who dares to criticize them.
b) Turkey is reaching out to the Arab states to forger unity and potentially revive Pan Arabism.
c) Turkey just participated in the fuel swap deal proposal with Brazil on Iran, and Israel is hell bent on Iran’s destruction.

No one talks to Israel’s enemies if they want relations with Israel.

Mind you, it’s odd that he simultaneous condemns countries that have committed greater atrocities than Israel, and Hamas, which has killed abotu 1 hundredth as many civilians as Israel.

That’s Ziologic 101 for you.

Barbarism on the High Seas

America’s Complicity in Evil

By PAUL CRAIG ROBERTS

“As I write at 5pm on Monday, May 31, all day has passed since the early morning reports of the Israeli commando attack on the unarmed ships carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza, and there has been no response from President Obama except to say that he needed to learn “all the facts about this morning’s tragic events” and that Israeli prime minister Netanyahu had canceled his plans to meet with him at the White House. Thus has Obama made America complicit once again in Israel’s barbaric war crimes.  Just as the US Congress voted to deep-six Judge Goldstone’s report on Israel’s war crimes committed in Israel’s January 2009 invasion of Gaza, Obama has deep-sixed Israel’s latest act of barbarism by pretending that he doesn’t know what has happened.

No one in the world will believe that Israel attacked ships in international waters carrying Israeli citizens, a Nobel Laureate, elected politicians, and noted humanitarians bringing medicines and building materials to Palestinians in Gaza, who have been living in the rubble of their homes without repairs or medicines since January 2009, without first clearing the crime with its American protector. Without America’s protection, Israel, a totally artificial state, could not exist. No one in the world will believe that America’s spy apparatus did not detect the movement of the Israeli attack force toward the aid ships in international waters in an act of piracy, killing 20, wounding 50, and kidnapping the rest.  Obama’s pretense at ignorance confirms his complicity.

Once again the US government has permitted the Israeli state to murder good people known for their moral conscience. The Israeli state has declared that anyone with a moral conscience is an enemy of Israel, and every American president except Eisenhower and Carter has agreed.

Obama’s 12-hour silence in the face of extreme barbarity is his signal to the controlled corporate media to remain on the sidelines until Israeli propaganda sets the story.

The Israeli story, preposterous as always, is that the humanitarians on one of the ships took two pistols from Israeli commandos, highly trained troops armed with automatic weapons, and fired on the attack force. The Israeli government claims that the commandos’ response (70 casualties at last reporting) was justified self-defense.  Israel was innocent. Israel did not do anything except drop commandos aboard from helicopters in order to intercept an arms shipment to Gazans being brought in by ships manned by terrorists.

Many Christian evangelicals, brainwashed by their pastors that it is God’s will for Americans to protect Israel, will believe the Israeli story, especially when it is unlikely they will ever hear any other. Conservative Americans, especially on Memorial Day when they are celebrating feats of American arms, will admire Israel for its toughness.  Here in north Georgia where I am at the moment, I have heard several say, admiringly,  “Them, Israelis, they don’t put up with nuthin.”

Conservative Americans want the US to be like Israel. They do not understand why the US doesn’t stop pissing around after nine years and just go ahead and defeat the Taliban in Afghanistan.  They don’t understand why the US didn’t defeat whoever was opposing American forces in Iraq. Conservatives are incensed that America had to “win”  the war by buying off the Iraqis and putting them on the US payroll. Israel murders people and then blames its victims. This appeals to American conservatives, who want the US to do the same.”

It’s funny that there is an ad for Israel on the page. It says, “there’s a little bit of Israel in all of us.

Does that include the little bits of people who were blown up by Israel?

And if your defense is that Palestine doesn’t apologize, while you ignore that many more Palestinians were killed vs. Israelis in the past 20 years, you may need to get your priorities in order.

When people make poor choices and apologize after a screw up, that works for me, this is becoming sort of like a song and dance routine.  Like BP apologizing what me worry spill.  Then there is coal mine owners who said they did not do anything wrong. Best of all the bale out clowns, but wait bale outs have not apologized yet! I believe we were told they are doing gods work.

I have done this for many years now, I always apologize before screwing, by saying saying is going to hurt me more than you! Sometimes one does not know a screw up is in the making, seems those who screw up more often then not, may have limited abilites maybe they should not be in a postion to screw up? Impending screw ups may have something to do with aptitiude.

Israel could have announced their screw up before hand and announced the screw up by saying something like this; “Israel apologizes for what we are about to screw up, but the devil is making us do it”!
This announcing before hand could become more common place, then the Palestinians could reply and say they accept the apology and say “please don’t do it at all or again and try to give up this continuous screwing up, we the Palistinas find we don’t like being screwd”. Then Israel could reply with “FU” and then were would we be?

Come on now, Jay. Nobody can be nice in the midst of an existential struggle. Israel fucked up and at least had the sense of wrong to apologize. No, the dead won’t be coming back, and no, everything is not now alright. When was the last time an Arab apologized for accidentally killing an Israeli? Or hasn’t that ever happened?

Jay,s twin Ray here.

I told Jay what you said and he said that most people are taught that 2 wrongs don’t make a right in their childhood. So Jay says to try to rationalize as a little kid would rationalize it. Like if you where playing basketball in a park and the big kids bully the little kids and take the little kids basketball and don’t give it back.

Jay says let’s be honest with each other most deaths on each side are not “accidental”. They are intentional. So because you apologize it doesn’t give you the moral high ground when you go and repeat the same actions over and over again. So it is not accidental as per Israeli versions. It just makes the Israelis disingenuous hypocrites. So as you say if the Arabs never apologize for “accidental” Israeli deaths then they are not hypocrites, right?

The reality is very easy to rationalize. You have Israeli conscripts of which many live in the so called occupied territories These conscripts are in essence trigger happy sadistic goons that use the slightest excuse to open fire and kill Arabs to terrorize the others. Yes, the Israelis are terrorists. Jay is realistic though and understand that the worst of human nature is the result of perpetual conflict. Israel is just a big mistake and until that mistake is corrected there will be no peace. Only justice will bring peace. And Jay says that the Palestinian people have by dealt a historic injustice.

Geez Jay that makes sense to me.

Lets be fair guys.

Those Israeli commandos dropped from US helicopters unto a flotilla 60 odd
miles away from the coast of Gaza showed a lot bravery in defending the only
democratic ally the US has ever had or will have.

It takes bravado and patriotism to jump from a helicopter on un-armed
individuals. Bibi should give each one of those sobs a medal of honor. Who the
fuzz do these clowns from Turkey, Ireland and other backward nations think
they’re dealing with?

Israel is a modern, civilized state ordained by the Creator. And bankrolled by
the world’s only big-brother democracy whose President was given the Nobel
Prize as a man of and for PEACE.

By the way aren’t those israeli military great at defending themselves when
attacked. I mean common no one on the planet is capable of such courage and
bravery in the face of being attacked by unarmed men and women. Come to
think of it one only other people are capable of such patriotic acts. They though
are called Somali pirates.

And according to their Ambassador in the US. the IDF was not only protecting
Israel but also its only ally the US. So instead of damning Israel their brave
defensive actions helped save the US on a memorable day called Memorial.

Israel uber alles!

But everybody in that part of the world knows that Israel is blockading the Gaza coast. Israel makes it perfectly clear that they will not tolerate foreign ships landing at Gaza without being inspected for contraband (including, evidently, coriander!). The “flotilla” organizers knew that if they really wanted to get their “humanitarian aid” to the Gazans, all they had to do was land at Haifa, and offload the cargo, and it would have been on the way to Gaza.

Israel’s black dressed commandos dropping down on the ships from helicopters, kind of reminds me of Saddam Hussein’s black dressed Kung Fu type Republican Guard members attacking the procession of U.S. troops when the U.S. entered Iraq, but the difference is that U.S. troops were armed for war against the Iraqis, whereas a humanitarian vessel was not armed for war, even if their intention was to provoke.

The Defense Ministry is refusing - on security grounds, it says - to reveal why Israel prohibits the import into the Gaza Strip of items such as cilantro, sage, jam, chocolate, french fries, dried fruit, fabrics, notebooks empty flowerpots and toys, while allowing cinnamon, plastic buckets and combs.

But in its response to a freedom-of-information suit last week, the state did admit, for the first time, that there is specific list of permissible goods.

The suit, filed in the Tel Aviv administrative court by Gisha: Legal Center for Freedom of Movement, sought to clarify the criteria and procedures the authorities use to determine what goods to allow into Gaza. It was filed after Gazans began claiming that commercial interests inside Israel, and their lobbying power, were determining the permitted items.

In its response, the state “apologized to the court and the plaintiff for inaccuracies presented during oral arguments [in January], due to certain misunderstandings.” The inaccuracy in question was its denial of the existence of written directives.

The response included two documents that the state termed drafts that are already being used in practice - one titled “Procedure for Permitting the Entry of Goods into Gaza” and one titled “Procedure for Tracking and Estimating Inventories in Gaza.” The latter is supposed to warn of existing or likely shortages.

The state also submitted a third document, a “List of Critical Humanitarian Goods for the Population,” whose existence it had previously denied. This list is periodically updated, it said.

A fourth document, called “Foodstuffs Consumption in Gaza - Red Lines,” is a draft for internal use only, the state said, “and has never served as a basis for decision-making.” Haaretz reporters Uri Blau and Yotam Feldman revealed the existence of this document in a June 2009 investigative report. It apparently determines the minimum nutritional needs of Gaza’s population, according to caloric intake and grams of food, parsed by age and gender.

The state seeks to deny Gisha’s suit on the grounds that revealing the first three documents would “harm national security and possibly even diplomatic relations.” And since the fourth is not a basis for policy, there is no need to reveal it, the state argued.”

Correct me if I’m wrong:

1. Israel blockades the Gaza coast to prevent non-humanitarian aid from entering Gaza unmonitored.
2. Egypt shares a border with Gaza.
3. Egypt prevents non-humanitarian aid from entering Gaza, hence the existence of tunnels to circumvent to border checks.
4. Israel and Egypt have no restrictions on humanitarian aid entering Gaza through their official border crossings. (Unless they act in concert, restrictions by either side would be negated by the other.)
5. Ships carrying humanitarian aid for Gaza routinely stop at Haifa and have their cargos inspected for weapons and other non-humanitarian aid goods.
6. Once shipments are screened for non-humanitarian items, they are transported to Gaza. There is no limit.
7. The ships were carrying humanitarian aid; medicine, food, tools, etc.
8. If they really wanted the aid to reach Gaza, they would have stopped at Haifa, like all other ships do.
9. The ships were actually on a provocation mission.
10. The Israelis handled the situation badly.

Heard “pundits” tonight say it is all Turkey’s fault.  Turkey knows that Israel is blockadng Gaza so why did Turkey allow ship to sail and why allow Turks aboard?

Isn’t this piracy?  Attacking a ship in International waters and confiscatng anything Israel takes a fancy to?  Pundits didn’t mention International water or piracy.

Jay’s brother Ray here,

Jay says Netanyahu is a war criminal and deserves nothing short of a hangman noose. Just like Sadaam.

Even though Jay opposes the death penalty it is pretty easy to make an exception for this guy.

It’s easy to do the math. US support for Israel=911=Iraq War=Afghanistan War.

What about economic sanctions against Israel?
An arms embargo?
Freeze their assets?
International court at the Hague?

UN resolution 181 has been the biggest criminal act the UN has ever committed. Israel should not exist.

Netanyahu “regrets the loss of life?” Oh horseshit. The ONLY thing Bibi regrets is
getting caught in the very public eye. So would it be unfair to work the converse?
Our world “regrets” Netanyahu’s life? Cause and on account of, the man is the
consummate butcher.

Watch the world press on this one. How it is reported is crucial.  Israel won’t look good, using armed soldiers and shooting unarmed civilians on a mercy mission, in spite of the sticks, clubs, knives - if there actually were such.  (A strict non-violent mission would have been trained not even to use such mild force, for obvious reasons—arousing anger, fear, providing and “excuse” etc.)

Careful investigation should be used to clarify every detail of this mission for future record.

Question:  What if this single mercy flotilla was immediately followed by three, ten, fifteen more similar ones, one after another, conducted in much the same way?  Could be, that would be the only way—or the best way—to bring Israel to its senses without more bloodshed.( They might get away killing civilians on a mercy mission once, but more than once?  Very doubtful.)

The Israeli PM apologizes after every atrocity Israel commits, which is weekly at least. It’s child like really, a lack of maturity and to be the Israel PM one has to qualify as a sociopath, willing to say anything while continuing to commit the same atrocities over and over agains. The sociopath train and then call in their psychopaths for the actual killing. The USG is using the same playbook, Why? Endless war can replace consumerism as the main product of society.

Oh, he says he regrets the loss of life, does he? Well, that makes the Israeli “PM” a big fat liar doesn’t it? He doesn’t regret the loss of life, he regrets that these inconvenient people got killed and it’s made Israel look like what it is: a police state run by fascists.

When was the last time you heard a Palestinian leader voice his “regret” over the loss of Israeli life following a rocket attack or suicide bombing?

Never is my guess.
