Iran Launches Rocket, West Looks On With SuspicionPosted on Feb 3, 2010
Iran’s launching of a new rocket Wednesday raised concerns in the U.S. that Tehran might have plans in the works beyond a patriotic show of space prowess (read: nuclear ambitions). Meanwhile, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is claiming that he’s open to talks about enriching Iranian uranium outside his country. —KA AP via YouTube: Advertisement Previous item: 'Colbert Report': Eliot Spitzer Has Nothing to Lose Next item: Chris Hedges on 'Illusion,' Corporatism and Inverted Totalitarianism New and Improved CommentsWe are launching a major overhaul of our comments section. The United States has started an arms race in the Middle East by invading Iraq and Afghanistan and starting a war on Muslims. Actions have consequences and foolish actions have disastrous consequences. Iran has not attacked another country in almost two centuries and it will not attack Israel either but there is no guarantee that Israel will not attack Iran or that the United States will at some future point commit military and financial suicide by attacking Iran. All this drum beating about Iran’s nuclear ambitions and capabilities is to justify using nuclear weapons on Iran. The only way Iran can escape being attacked is to have nuclear weapons and this message certainly won’t be lost on all the other countries in the region.

Iran launched a rocket and it wasn’t headed for Dimona, who would have guessed.

Iran is not allowed to launch satellites? Interesting…
Sounds like “the West” has paranoia issues among themselves that need to be addressed. Yes?
