‘Mentally F’ed Up’ in Baghdad

In this episode of the outstanding Web documentary series “Hometown Baghdad,” Adel interviews his young brother and cousin, both of whom had just witnessed a gruesome killing. He is convinced the two young Iraqis already show signs of the psychological trauma that comes from growing up in a war zone.

These children, or a million others just like them, are the ones who will grow up willing to strap a bomb under their clothes just so they can take some of the hated Crusaders with them. A lifetime of mind-bending horror will do that to them. The U.S. is building a MOUNTAIN of bad karma with what it’s done. May God, or Allah, or just the universe, help America when the time of balancing the scales comes.
