Glenn Greenwald Confronts MSNBC Host Over Media Bias

Posted on Dec 27, 2013

When asked if he’s more a spokesman for Edward Snowden than a journalist, Glenn Greenwald told MSNBC’s Kristen Welker, “Sure, I do defend him. Just like people on MSNBC defend President Obama and his officials and Democratic Party leaders 24 hours a day.”

The true test of a journalist, Greenwald went on to argue, is not whether he or she has a point of view, but whether his or her stories are reliable and accurate, as has been the case with his NSA reports.
