Gibbs to Sign Off as Press SecretaryPosted on Jan 5, 2011
Wednesday was a big day on Capitol Hill, what with the 112th Congress convening with a Republican at the helm of the House and with the announcement of a significant change in the Obama administration: Press secretary Robert Gibbs will leave his post in February. So, what’s next for Obama’s soon-to-be-former talker? It’s a little bit unclear at this point, but in Gibbs’ own carefully chosen words: “What I’m gonna do next is step back a little bit and recharge some ... I hope to give some speeches. I will continue to provide advice and counsel to this building and to this president.” —KA AP via YouTube: Advertisement Previous item: Aspiring iPad Killers Crash CES (Update) Next item: These Public Employees Are Not Overpaid New and Improved CommentsWe are launching a major overhaul of our comments section. First one to leave ‘the party’ after only two drinks…
Running time 1:02; First question “the potential freedom… speaking with Obama by ‘not’ being behind that podium” is a pretty interesting one, don’t you think?
His answer: “..you certainly have to play that role..”
This guy ‘seems’ more honest in his in-between-the-lines responses…. hmmm.
