Flash Floods Kill At Least 16 in Arkansas

At least 16 people were reported killed by flash floods in western Arkansas on Friday after buildup from heavy rainfall caused flood waters to sweep through campgrounds. “Dozens” of others were missing later that day, according to the New York Times’ report, which listed the death toll at four more than the AP’s story below.  —KA
