Fox Business (via Media Matters)

Rep. Ron Paul of Texas shows just how scared Republicans are of facing off against Barack Obama in open debate. Hey, it’s no surprise, not after the entire star lineup of the GOP got creamed debating the president at last year’s televised health care summit—YL

Vote in ranked-ballot fun-poll for Ron Paul’s vice president!  So far, Andrew Napolitano is winning.

chip, May 6 at 8:53 pm,

If you vote in a Republican you will get rid of Medicare and Social
Security.  The only way I would get rid of Medicare would be with
Universal Health Care, where all medical operations and medicine is
free to all citizens of the United States.

Wow - I’ve seen Uncle Toms (e.g. - Clarence Thomas, Michael Steele) before, but this one takes the cake.
What an embarrassment - to stoop this low . . . this is the stuff of Republican-Teabagger masturbatory fantasies. “Yeah, we can totally beat Obama . . .[/inhales smoke from a crack pipe/] . . . oh, man . . . Ron Paul’s just going to rise up and take him out in 2012 [/inhale/] . . . just you wait and see, man . . .”

Ron Paul gets my vote.

Wall Street hates him and so does the Federal Reserve Banksters.

Obama has sold us out. I just heard he plans to cut corporate taxes from 35 percent to 25 percent.
He says our social security should cover it.

Screw Obama and his corporate buddies. Vote for Ron Paul. The republicans hate him too.

He is as close to Ralph Nader and Dennis Kucinich
as we will ever get.

Shane, May 1 at 1:50 am,

Any and all Republicans are conservative and vote lock step with
the Conservative Republican EXTREMISTS, even Ron Paul, and it is
not in the best interest of the majority population, the common
population in the United States, the American Populace to allow
any Republican into office.

Republicans are inveterate political liars, sophists that have a style
of reasoning that makes and clings to the false presupposition of
the absolute separateness of being and non-being.  Republican
sophistry argument proceeds from a baseless
presupposition which is uncritically and unthinkingly adopted, based
on the academic work of G. W. F. Hegel in
“Science of Logic”.

Republicans through the Republican led DLC, Democratic
Leadership Council, have destroyed the Democratic Party as far as
representation of the majority population, unless the majority
population can gain control of the Democratic Party and reform it
to represent the majority population, instead of only representing
a small percentage of the population at the top, which is always
my hope, but so many Democrats have been tainted by DLC
Republicans that it seems relatively hopeless.

First off… it was Fox Business. When people use the
term “Faux”, it just makes them look foolish.

John Strossel is not the cookie-cutter Republican -
he’s quite liberal on most social issues including
immigration, marijuana, and many other things. In
fact, Google search Strossel vs O’Riley..

Republicans normally don’t like Ron Paul, which is
why Strossel had him debate a fake Obama - to show
that he can provide competent answers in a debate
with “Obama”.

Aside from that, it was silly.

Republicans have too much already, even Obama helped the
Republicans, but Republicans want more.  More for Republican
capitalists and no jobs for the majority population.  We don’t need
you if you won’t make jobs for the people in the United States,
making jobs in some other country doesn’t help the majority common
population in the United States.
