Emanuel’s ‘Glad to Be Home’ ... in Chicago, That IsPosted on Oct 4, 2010
Oops—someone has caught Obama’s outgoing chief of staff and ongoing hatchet man, Rahm Emanuel, being a duplicitous politician! It’s not that bad, really; Rahmbo’s just talking about how he’s “glad to be home” in Chicago in this mayoral campaign video, but he actually filmed the spot in Washington. Nice try with the generic background shot, there, guy, but Politico scribe Ben Smith, for one, and Matt Drudge, for another, aren’t buying what you’re selling. —KA ChicagoForRahm.com via Ben Smith in Politico: Advertisement Previous item: ‘Left, Right & Center’: Rahm Gone, Tea Party, Whitman-Brown Next item: California Debate Heats Up Over Immigration New and Improved CommentsIf you have trouble leaving a comment, review this help page. Did he look squeeky-clean or what? Must have scrub-a-dub-dubbed for a look that nothing could stick to. Teflon Rahm.

I would laugh my ass off if he didn’t get elected.
Time for him to return to Israel and run for office there, but I hear they don’t like Americans much, only their money.

I think the transparent name of his website says it all.

I’m sure this thug is certain he’ll waltz into office as Chicago’s mayor. It would be a thing of beauty to see him electorally routed or denied a place on the ballot altogether.

He already is mayor. The election is a mere ritual, a formality that must be gotten through. Anyway, it will give the various players an opportunity to spread some money around among their cronies, so it’s always good for that.
Even the conservative Talk Radio that is pretending to make fun of him is fawning all over him. And anyone with half a brain knows that Daley engineered this himself.
I was going to say be glad you’re not a Chicagoan, but that is so naive. All elections are the same. Were they ever real? I wonder.
