Vice Media founder Shane Smith traveled to Moscow to learn from NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden exactly what the U.S. government can do in the way of bypassing security on our digital devices and violating our privacy.

In 2013, Snowden leaked the details of massive government surveillance programs. The debate that ensued came to a head this year when Apple refused an FBI court order to access the iPhone of San Bernardino terror suspect Syed Farook.
