‘Democracy Now!’ Expands the Presidential DebatePosted on Oct 22, 2012
Third-party candidates shut out of Monday’s final presidential debate will once again have the chance to be heard on a special live, expanded broadcast of “Democracy Now!” starting at 8:30 p.m. Eastern time (5:30 p.m. Pacific time). The program will give Green Party candidate Jill Stein and Justice Party candidate Rocky Anderson equal time to respond to questions raised during the official debate. A 30-minute pre-debate round-table discussion will kick off the event. “Democracy Now!’s” first two debate specials, conducted in a similar format, can be seen here and here. The vice presidential debate is viewable here. —Posted by Alexander Reed Kelly. “Democracy Now!”: Watch live streaming video from democracynow at livestream.com
