‘Democracy Now!’: Are Israeli Settlements Legal?Posted on Jul 11, 2012
“Democracy Now!” hosts a debate inspired by the determination of a panel appointed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that Israel’s settlements in the occupied territories are legal. The panel, headed by former Israeli Supreme Court Justice Edmond Levy, also determined that Israel is not an occupier. Below, Jonathan Tobin and Ali Abunimah debate the issue. —Posted by Peter Z. Scheer.
