‘Daily Show’: The Temple of HumePosted on Jan 6, 2010
Gosh, Brit Hume has been hit with some angry e-mails since he proclaimed on national television that Tiger Woods needs saving by one J.C. (whose name, Hume cleverly notes, causes “all hell” to break loose when uttered in such a setting), but Hume doesn’t think his comment was tantamount to proselytizing, no sir. This causes “Daily Show” correspondent Aasif Mandvi to reflect on his own religious background and the extreme tolerance shown for it on that same Murdochian network—as well as in the nation’s airports, and when walking through Staten Island. —KA The Daily Show:

Nerdy? That’s bad? Isn’t he funny unlike Hume is, intentionally? Also politically insightful too. As for “flatulent” you just needed to pull something out of your ass to insult him when you have nothing. Pity the fool! I would recommend reading a book on ethics and humility.

I can only observe that it is strange to promote Christianity as an anodine to sexual obsession, seeing as how hypocrisy is most likely all that will be taught.
Catholic Priests, Tele-Evanglists, general Christian believers all apparently in constant rut.

Hume is droopy like a hound-dog, but not as pleasing to hear. Stewart is flatulent & nerdy. Spare us both.
