‘Daily Show’: Sarah Palin Should Quit (Her Day Job)Posted on Mar 4, 2010
Um, what’s the deal with Sarah Palin doing standup on “The Tonight Show”? Next thing you know, she’ll be pitching her own TV show around Greater L.A. Now that would be ... oh, never mind. Jon Stewart has some advice from one seasoned comic to this particular amateur: Maybe she should quit!

It must be frustrating to be so high up and so self-righteously smug as to be forced to look down on everyone else, but that’s why I’m not a Republican. Tea anyone?

Oh, dear Bonito you are so right….we passed the low bar mark when Blagojevich got away with guest starring a play about his own malfeasance.
I used that same quote the other day here regarding this exact same subject - Palin’s appearance on Leno.

I’ve also come to the conclusion that Romney is merely the male version of Palin. He is as big an idiot as she is, only in the Repbulican gender approved package.

If this is the best the GOP has to offer, I think I’ll stick with my Obama disillusionment.

Stewart is a dunce. Why can’t he get a real “day job”, maybe washing dishes at a greasy spoon?

I find it unfortunate that Stewart and Colbert have resorted to water-carrying.
And I find it downright embarrassing that I have to remind them, as a teacher of
parody, what parody is, and what it requires (very embarrassing).
Your audience at least has to agree with you to get it. When you spin and
Report thisvictimize, with a venom beyond what is generally accepted, regarding the subject
matter, then people stop “getting it” and, alas, it becomes tedious, a stretch, and
not funny.

So this is how far down the Sewer of politics our
Report thisnation has traveled. When a 1/2 term Governor and
moose hunter, can make millions telling We simple
folks how much the party of the rich and greedy are
going to do for US. Now this is making the most of
one’s 15 minutes of fame. She is a comedian alright,
and certainly laughing all of the way to the bank.
Now if she had finished her term as Governor, and had
put some of the unemployed citizens of Alaska back to
work, and otherwise helped solve just a few of the
pressing problems now facing this country, she could
maybe justify in some small measure her claim to
world leadership. But to me she is just another bad
joke made at the expense of those that are feeling
the pain of loosing their Homes, income, and
certainly their health insurance. So what else can
you expect from the GOP, she repeats the party line
that we should give more tax breaks to the rich in
hopes that they may allow some small portion to
trickle down to the working people and even a little
to the poor. I think it was H L Mechan that once
said ” No one throughout history has ever lost a dime
under-estimating the intelligence of the American
People. ” Now I understand why.

Always thought Sarah Palin was hilarious. If they ever do the Tina Fey story, Palin should play lead.

Well, Peetawonkus, they struggle and spend to get elected, so they can show how dysfunctional government can be made if one has just the right bad attitude about people and their needs to solve problems the economy gives them. Plus, it’s such a cushy job. Lifetime everything! All voted in by the good ol’ boys and girls club as they determinedly plunder the masses for their bosses’ schemes of lying, cheating, and making WAR! The best business to be in, since it involves all one way manufacturing…straight from the R&D guys to the trash heaps and battlefields. They are all latter day Calvinists, if they claim to be Christians. You know the story… we are God’s chosen, and you all are doomed so why struggle and bitch? Get it while the getting is good. “Profit City, next stop!” Sit down and shut up you kids or you’ll see what the militarized cops, and the Pentagon does to those who won’t lick the shiny boots of the oppressor.

Funny how these “mainstream media” haters keep chasing the spotlight. Kind of how like Republican “Government haters” spend fortunes to get elected to…government.

Okay now, let’s get it right. What Stewart said was that she wasn’t bad and that she should quit her day job…..if she had one.
As for me, I think the fact that she’s making such an effort to be part of the Hollywood elite that she’s been so denegrating of before just goes to prove, one more time, that she is a fraud, NOT your plain old run-of-the-mill American. She’s making money hand-over-fist and I guarantee you, it isn’t making it’s way to “the troops” or to the “real Americans”.
