Don’t worry—everyone can see those trails you’ll observe around Jon Stewart in this “Daily Show” clip. It’s not just you. But speaking of weirdness, consider the possibility, which Stewart advances here, that Sarah Palin is actually quite brilliant for mobilizing an entire news network to help her “set the record straight,” as Bill O’Reilly puts it.  —KA

I thought Palin would be long gone by now.  I thought it was a mistake for McCain to make her his VP.  But here she is, as popular as just about anybody, making money, making points, and making converts.

The left will hate her forever, but the more they squawk about her the more popular she gets.  I think there are about as many stories about her and Beck on this site as there are anybody else.

How come Ed Schultz or Rachel Maddow never get that popular?

I think that uncle samuel and aunt sarah wld make a very good team. S’mthing, like hebraic samuel and sarah have ca 50-6k yrs ago.

And boy life in those days was very good. Plenty of fish, game, nuts, berries, small snakes, frogs, fruits, etc.

And if u look at ur toes, u know we used them to grasp branches for they were at least a ft long. We didn’t even have to alight to have sex. With such long and strong toes grasping thick branches we cld also have sex in trees.

And u didn’t have to pay for sex in those days because money had not been invented until our toes nearly disappeared around 3.5 k yrs ago.
tnx

All it proves is that Fox has NO standards for the capability of a political commentator to actual EVALUATE and critique policy.

It’s not the politics—it’s the ability to analyze.  William Safire and William F. Buckley were both extreme right-wing commentators.  But they were thoughtful, intelligent, and fact based.

Fox hires people who don’t care about facts, just feed ersatz red meat to their viewers.  And Sarah Palin is BRILLIANT at feeding them their ersatz red meat.

Ersatz because it’s not factual—just made-up BS lies for this nation’s Goebbels Network—Faux Noise.

Sarah Palin is obviously brilliant( and beautiful), just as Stewart is obviously boring (and nerdy).
