‘Daily Show’: ‘Fox & Friends’ Says Don’t Blame BushPosted on Jun 30, 2010
According to the highly nonpartisan lineup of talking heads on “Fox & Friends,” the statute of limitations has officially passed for blaming the Bush administration for any stuff that’s hit the fan since W. left office. This includes situations the former president clearly had a hand in, as well as, according to former Gov. Jeb Bush, the common cold symptoms suffered by his brother’s detractors. Jon Stewart would like to set the record straight in this clip from Tuesday night’s show. —KA

Even Brzezinski changed his standpoint quite a bit
Report thissince then. Now (it’s hard to believe but still) he
states that President of the country is to care about
the wealth of his own citizens first of all, and the
geopolitical games should go to the background while
there still are problems at home (sic! —
http://www.win.ru/en/school/5328.phtml) He also said
that America has to switch from fighting these endless
wars to solution of its own problems.

Stewart is hilarious as always, but for the first time ever I have to admit that there is a substantial amount of truth in what the folks at FAUX News said: a lot of this stuff DOES in fact go back to Clinton. This isn’t to say that Bush is devoid of responsibility, but let’s not fool ourselves into thinking that the Clinton years were some rosy paradise just because the bubble hadn’t burst yet. The repeal of Glass-Steagal (which paved the way for the financial crisis), passage of NAFTA, which destroyed American jobs and sent thousands of desperate Mexicans across the border, the deaths of over half a million Iraqi children (with the Clinton administration going on record saying “we think it’s worth it”) and plans to escalate a conflict there—- Clinton should have been impeached for these offenses, not for getting a blow job. Bush for that matter should also be impeached, along with Barry Obama.
By the way, the agenda of the ruling class has been in print and publicly available for some time now. Check out Zbigniew Brzezinski’s “The Grand Chessboard”. It was published in the final years of the Clinton and documents with astonishing clarity the direction of American foreign policy. This was and arguably still is the playbook, boys and girls…

Comedy Central should be ashamed of itself for giving in to threats, since all you seem to be able to do is cower in fear. YOUR A DISGRACE to our armed forces who put lives on the line every day in Iraq, Afganistan, and everywhere else. YOUR A DISGRACE TO AMERICA. Not only was this a shameful act by Comedy Central, but they were intimidated by this despicable, anti-American radical behavior. We all know now that Jon Stewart is a sell out when the going got tough. What a coward. Why do these cowards abandon their principles so easily when they get scared? Will Comedy Central’s ratings go in the toilet? For the brave, yes. The comedy act that I can’t wait to see is how Comedy Central is going to be able to find satire in there cowardly act An episode of “South Park” that continued a story line involving the Prophet Muhammad was shown Wednesday night on Comedy Central with audio bleeps and image blocks reading “CENSORED” after a Muslim group warned the show’s creators that they could face violence for depicting that holy Islamic prophet? Never. Gee, what a shock.

This nation will be damned lucky if it can clean Bush’s mess up within the next twenty years, if that. There are some out there who will never overcome the effects of the Bush administration, such as those killed in his wars. I was watching an HBO special the other night entitled “Gasland,” in which the doings of the oil companies concerned with hydraulic fracturing (fracking) of the earth to remove gas deposits was discussed. There are people in several states who have lost their health, their property’s value, and their way of life because of Cheney’s sweetheart deal with Haliburton hinging on the lifting of regulations against “fracking.” The land they live on has been permanently destroyed by this action. Everything the Bush administration touched was tainted in some way. There is no expiration date for this kind of thing.

Except it is true Obama did continue the exemptions for the oil companies and lots of other bad Bush policies which he has continued and in some cases is worse than Bush on. Wake up so called progressives and see what a disaster and liar Obama is.

Stewart is so funny and so dead on with his comments. I wonder how Fox News can go on talking this nonsense. Maybe the same thing that happened to Crossfire will happen to Fox and Fiends oops Fries?
