mcthorogood, the Guardian is the CIA’s favourite newspaper so the idea that they would be critical of Wikileaks is in the nature of a no brainer.

I saw this show and I thought Colbert was the most respectful I have ever seen him. Colbert is Colbert, what can I say, sometimes, you have to take him w/a grain of salt.

The Guardian recently published an article “Who Watches Wikileaks?”, which was critical of Wikileaks.

Commune115:
“Shameful interview?” You clearly do not understand Colbert’s brand of humor, or when he is being facetious in order to bring out points he very much WANTS the interviewee to discuss - not to humiliate or denigrate the interviewee, but quite the opposite.
You need to understand Colbert’s sardonicism and sarcasm to understand that this was actually among the most important and RESPECTFUL interviews he has given of late.

Why do you say the interview was shameful, Commune115? I thought Assange more than held his own. I bet the American fascist elite are shaking in their boots with fear and so they should. They’ve got about ten years of lies and treason to keep hidden.

Justin Raimondo over at antiwar.com has just published a good article on how Limousine Liberals are trying to bash WikiLeaks for doing a needed public service, he devotes a good amount of space to Colbert’s shameful interview of Assange.
