‘Colbert Report’: Jon Kyl Has a Vestigial TailPosted on Apr 12, 2011
Note: That headline was not intended to be a factual statement. Rather, it is picking up on what Sen. Jon Kyl put down when he vastly overstated the percentage of Planned Parenthood’s budget that goes to providing abortions. To Kyl’s figures, Stephen Colbert retorts: “Over 90 percent—that is unbelievable, in that it is not true.” Burn! And while he’s talking about the truth-challenged, Colbert takes a good shot at “Fox & Friends” in this insta-classic “Colbert Report” clip. —KA Colbert Nation: Advertisement New and Improved CommentsWe are launching a major overhaul of our comments section. Why should anything spoken on the Senate floor be required to be factual since at the outset it already factually misrepresents itself as an institution representative of the people?

Who’s worse Kyl or Brewer? What’s up with Arizona——maybe it’s the dry heat! Anyway, when you look at these two politicians you know how bad things are in the USA.

Shouldn’t speaking on the Senate floor be limited to factual statements only?
Report thisMaybe I’m just old fashioned that way.
