Sharpton and Colbert

After calling Stephen Colbert the startling nickname of “Steyoncé,” the Rev. Al Sharpton hunkers down for a more serious discussion about his latest priority: education. “Education is a civil right,” Sharpton says, describing his project with Newt Gingrich (!) in this clip from Tuesday’s “Colbert Report.”  —KA

Why is Truthdig legitimizing this processed
buffoon(insult to the accomplishments of
MLK/MalcolmX/Fannie Lou Hamer, et al)?!  Ever since
some blacks told Jewish donors (only diverted attention
away from their spying on/exploitation of blacks in the
North) didn’t give them the right to steer the
direction of civil rights movement away from THEIR
social/economic/political roost in Amerikka.

You do know that Colbert himself called hisself
Steyonce in a prior bit, right?  Sharpton, the school
re-segregationist, was just making reference to the
prior bit.

Sharpton still said that underprivileged kids need more
teacher discipline and longer days.  You know, black
and brown kids are just not pulling their weight and
need to be punished!  Nice, asshole!

Sharpton, the college dropout, is a moron.
