Colbert Drops the Act for HaitiPosted on Jan 15, 2010
In a rare moment of on-air candor, Stephen Colbert consults with Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius about the situation in Haiti and learns a very important texting trick that viewers can use to send money, now, to add to the earthquake relief effort. —KA

There was a conference in France where a number of international engineers
were taking part, including French and American. During a break,
one of the French engineers came back into the room saying ‘Have you
heard the latest dumb stunt Bush has done? He has sent an aircraft
carrier to Indonesia to help the tsunami victims. What does he
intended to do, bomb them?’
A Boeing engineer stood up and replied quietly: ‘Our carriers have three
hospitals on board that can treat several hundred people; they are
nuclear powered and can supply emergency electrical power to
shore facilities; they have three cafeterias with the capacity to
feed 3,000 people three meals a day, they can produce several thousand
gallons of fresh water from sea water each day, and they carry half a
dozen helicopters for use in transporting victims and injured to and
from their flight deck. We have eleven such ships; how many does
France have?’
You could have heard a pin drop.
Let’s hope the Obama administration helps the

I can’t believe the troops on the ground csn’t get food snd water to the needy. get a front end losder starting down the road clearing the main streets. Make up thousands of bags of one day food stuffs. send 10 soldiers with each truck for stability. go out to the farthest point and work back. set up a distribution tent servicing people out the front and resupply from the back. once established set uo medical tents again the furthest point and work back to the airport. once you have established a network you can maintain the supply chain. Need to move NOW. We need to establish a tent city away from the city so clearing and rebuilding can start. set up tents on a10x12 space use a ditch witch to bury a 2” water line with a hose bibb every 50 to 100 feet to serve both side of the new strip road 12’ wide so vehicles can drive up and down. get 1000;s of tents shipped right away and have this effort start next week, there will be need for several camps, you can’t service all the needy down town move them out. In the food bags handed out have a flyer in there that has a message from the haitian president so the people don’t lose faith in the government- other wise caos will start and gangs will take over. I can’t believe that some one is not starting a program as I have described. I am getting PDS sitting hear watch the TV. Lets get going people!!!!!

One week ago today, the people of the US including Colbert didn’t give a rats behind for the people of Haiti. in fact, and for the record too. A large majority of Americans didn’t care if these terribly impoverished Haitian people lived or died. now because of this well-timed natural disaster the world is now focused on the people of Haiti, why???
Remember that similar occurrence here in the US a few years back. Where these Democratic ponies? Governess Blanchard and her crooked sidekick of a Mayor Nagan dictated through their hypocritical liberal lines a bunch of worthless jargon about improving the shamefully poor living conditions in and around the city of New Orleans. Nobody gave a rats behind about these impoverished people (American citizens) poor hard working folk living in filthy roach infested houses and small trailers earning a pitiful starvation wage while all around them a multibillion-dollar oil industry was raking in great profits , due too their hard labor .
NO, according to the Louisiana government these dear people didn’t even exist, until that great equalizer “hurricane Katrina” exposed this cesspool of democratically controlled corruption. Case and point! Thousands paid the ultimate price for the governor and mayors negligence with their lives, nothing was changed everything remains status quo today.
Conspiracy theories for Haiti, none that I’m aware of. naturally the money will continue to flow openly into that impoverished country, but what about six months from now?
The Hypocritical aspects and conspiracy for the government of Louisiana. Oh, yes. In addition, it starts right here with a lesson from the recent past where FEMA (representing our glorious government’s organization skills when dealing with disasters) purposely dropped the ball on New Orleans. Why? because in all actuality “We the American citizens who labored to keep this country free” are all expendable peasants to them. Lord knows they wouldn’t hesitate to deliberately nuke any American city just to silence any opposition to that “Anti-God Satanic theology for creating “The New World Order” Here’s a real conspiracy theory, many of us secretly now serve an evil corrupt government that sees no difference between we the American taxpaying citizens, and those dear suffering people of Haiti.
