CNN Money

Chairman of the Federal Reserve Ben Bernanke and multibillionaire Warren Buffett spoke to CNN Money about the Occupy Wall Street protests.

Bernanke, who cites the high rate of unemployment and exceedingly slow economic growth, said the protesters “blame with some justification the problems in the financial sector for getting us into this mess.”

Buffett said that though he believes a lot of the protesters are uninformed, “the feeling is real.” —BF

There is a company called
metalectrique that has technology
which is tipped to be the next
economic trigger. This will allow us
to drive CO2-free electric vehicles
over 600 miles cheaper than gas.

This company has been punished for 6
years because it has the answer the
oil governments don’t want. They
don’t have an answer apart from keep
selling oil, keep killing the planet
and keep ripping us off.

No more tyrants thanks. Let’s make
the change!

yes ‘1%’ is the number - Buffett: “...these folks [on Wall St.] aren’t going to send voluntary checks to the
government…”

of course not, why a 1% Wall Street Sales Tax must be imposed - made mandatory - made the law of the
land - made enforceable with stiff fines and jail time as the punishment for evasion of the tax

better yet, jail time served, sharing a cell with a 300-lb, convicted rapist - no soap allowed - please tell
your friends Mr. Bernanke, your acolytes Mr. Buffett, and all plutocrats in diligent service to their oligarch
masters, that this has been proposed and that it’s being seriously considered

think about it boys… no soap

That these two active participants and apologists for the status quot have come forward to address this at all certainly speaks to some success imo.

I would love to be informed by Mr. Buffet!  Please enlighten the mass.

Can Mr. Buffet explain to us why the 1% is amassing so much wealth and the 99%
is suffering?
Can Mr. Buffet explain to us why the country is in so many wars in far off places
killing innocent people while the citizens at home are suffering?
Can Mr. Buffet explain to us how the government got away with starting a war
under false pretences?
Can Mr. Buffet explain to us why the management of these financial institutions
are being paid billions in bonuses while they are making such a mass of their own
industry, resulting in the suffering?

On and on the public wonders…
