Angry Alaskan Confronts ‘Celebrity’ PalinPosted on Aug 9, 2010
Here we have one Kathleen Gustafson, miffed resident of Homer, Alaska, making her displeasure with former Gov. Sarah Palin clear by invoking the Bible, calling Palin a “celebrity”—no, that’s not a compliment—and hoisting a banner emblazoned with the words “WORST GOVERNOR EVER.” Palin attempts to find common ground by chatting about Gustafson’s fisherman husband, as members of the Palin clan and a TLC camera crew hover nearby, but her onetime constituent isn’t having it. The exchange took place Saturday as Palin hit Homer to film footage for her reality show, “Sarah Palin’s Alaska.” YouTube via Huffington Post: Advertisement Previous item: ‘Left, Right & Center’: Prop. 8, Jobs and Spanish Getaways Next item: Lone Frenchman Fights to Save Dying Alaskan Language New and Improved CommentsIf you have trouble leaving a comment, review this help page. Isn’t there some nice dying intelligent woman around who can have her brain transplanted into Sarah Palin’s head? She may be pretty but she makes me want to vomit every time I see her and hear her mean, bigoted, ignorant hate-filled voice.

Palin’s brain-dead republicanism is a one trick pony - mouth slogans about ‘strength’ (read military) and blind self-centered patriotism (read Constitution), regardless of how one has absolutely no logical relevance to the other.

Kathleen Gustafson, miffed resident of Homer, Alaska is president of the Board of Directors, Kachemak Bay,Family Planning Clinic (KBFPC) in Homer, AK, aka, abortion rights organization. Do you think she has an axe to grind against Palin? The video that I watched shows a woman alluding to be abandoned, along with her state of Alaska, by Palin. Like she ever supported Palin to begin with! A mean spirited attempt of a verbal attack against Palin, which she clearly loses in the video. And to Ray Duray,so what you’re saying is that every President since FDR (including Kennedy, Johnson, Clinton and now Obama) is a “baboon-like thinker”? Why aren’t you the leader of the free world, since no president in recent history has NOT protected the USA’s interests with the military? Fool

Palin is the best thing going and you Dem-witted Dems are afraid she will run in 2012. Shame on you she spent a lousy $150,000 on a campaign wardrobe and reembursed the repb. party. Michele Obama spent $178,000 on airfare alone to Spain. Look at this picture…Who is it that is spending this country into a disaster. The OBAMAS !!!!!

The actual rulers needed badly obama. Now they [onepercenters] need palin or worse in ‘12. They don’t need clooney, pitt, travolta, douglass, willis, madonna, rivers or better because all americans would love and respect these people.
And if anything goes wrong, people would blame constitution, US policy, think sties, and the like.

This has got to be FOX’s worse nightmare—Beck, Hannity, O’Reilly and Limbaugh probably peed their pants. They have protected Sarah Palin so fiercely that they haven’t even let her answer any questions that she didn’t have a chance to choose or look at in advance; or they have interviewed her and gently nudged her into giving the correct answers; or they have had the Palin children be human shields and accompany Mama Grizzly to protect her from the ordinary citizens who might ask her a question. Palin has hired a huge staff of speech writers and former newsmen to ghost write her Facebook pages and speeches and to bombard the media daily about the PTA and Chamber of Commerce speeches that she will be giving. Everyone on the Palin gravy train has fiercly protected Mama Bear so that the general public will not know what a dumbo she really is. All fluff but no facts.
Now the damage control people are coming to our Witless Wonder from Wasilla and trying to make excuses for her and her dysfunctional family. Gum chewing daughter was really complimenting Teacher when she said that Gustafson was jealous of the Palins and called the person taking the pictures an A.hole. Todd and Body Guard were merely walking around to get exercise when they kept walking in front of or using their hand to block out the cameraman’s pictures. And they were protecting the public when they patted private people down for an illegal search. And they were entirely in the right when they ordered Gustafson off her own property so that the Palin cameramen could film for their television series. And Sarah Palin fights to protect the civil liberties so her gravy train riders can rip up a sign. Poor Sarah must have been having a seizure when she convulsed in laughter when she mocked the lady who was a teacher, then rolled her eyes, screwed up her lips, shook her entire head and included daughter Bristol in their private joke about how much higher status celebrities like them are than lowly teachers. Luckily, the seizure was over as soon as Sarah saw her film crew and greeted them, and perkily commented that her husband was also a commercial fisherman. No wonder Palin started treating Gustafson differently—she knew that even though Palin was telling everyone that she was a commercial fisherman fishing on her boat in Palmer for halibut and had looked the halibut in the eyes before they took the bait—Gustafson knew that halibut are bottom feeders and are caught in deep water—you are lying when you say that you see their eyes when they take the bait and Palins do not have a halibut fishing quota—Todd (NOT Sarah) has a Native American fishing license and is allowed to fish for two weeks in July for salmon in Dillingham. Ms. Gustafson knew that if what Sarah was saying was true, she was fishing illegally.
Instead of looking at all the disgusting actions of the three Palins and their body guard, the Palin fans are focusing on the appearance of Gustafson. This thinking is just as shallow as Sarah’s. Good for Gustafson—Sarah Palin showed that you can be pretty on the outside, but if you are ugly on the inside, that is how people will remember you. You can spout off the written speech your speech writers have written for you about how you are all about protecting the rights of the American people, but the Palin grifters showed that they thought nothing about any of the rights of this private citizen who, like many Alaskans, feel that Palin quit the job of being Governor because she was more interested in personal wealth and celebrity status. Don’t kill the messenger—in just a few minutes of talking, she was able to reveal the true Sarah Palin and she was quite ugly.

Palin, “We both believe in the freedom of speech.” (Just ignore my A-hole security guy that’s trying to prevent the taping of this exchange of free speech)
Sarah, you are starting to act like the popular HS girl that is so proud that she is thought of like a celebrity.
Gosh, golly gee-wiz, I’m so happy you read my Facebook posts, and know how hard I’m working to get good constitutionalists into government. Will you FRIEND me? Or at least LIKE me?
I think I threw up in my mouth a little.

I was wondering what good would come out of this horrible decision by Discovery
Report thisChannel to give Sarah Palin a soapbox for her mangled thoughts. This moment
when she confronts Kathleen Gustafson while filming in Alaska is worth sending to
every person in America. This woman has real guts confronting Palin, who
abandoned her elected office to become a celebrity, and then presumes to tell us
what is right and wrong, and who is worthy of election. There has never been a
more hypocritical figure in our politics. All parties would be served by her
departure from the public forum. I have written to Discovery “Viewer Relations” to
voice my opinion. I really encourage others to do so as well.

Did Sarah Palin really say we need to protect the
military so they could protect the Constitution? What
a nut job. The Constitution states plainly “The
Congress shall have the Power:.... To raise and
support Armies, but no Appropriation of Money to that
Use shall be for a longer Term than two Years…”
In other words, Palin is clearly a baboon-like
Report thisthinker when she says we need a permanent addiction
to militarism to defend a document, i.e. the
Constitution, that most intelligent people have
concluded is absolutely no impediment whatsoever to
the evil form of imperial statism this nation is
devolving into today.

Only the Home Girls know the truth about Manufactured Lady Celebs. Ah, if only 60 Minutes and FoxNews would take their version of courageous broadcasting out of the closet and talk to these ladies before puffing up the pompous. Tis too too much to hope for. The standards of fairness and objectivity and telling the public the truth even though it hurts set by Edward R. Murrow and practiced by his protégés are no longer deemed relevant to the new journalism espoused by nonjournalist middle managers at General Electric, Walt Disney, Rupert Murdoch’s home in Sidney and whoever Katie Curic works for these days. Our bleak fate is to be forever more exposed to mediaocrazy’s idea of who should speak for us to us.
