In case you didn’t notice, the American dream is officially dead, and The Onion News Network has the footage to prove it. Watch aghast as one small-business owner runs out of steam after a particularly complacency-inducing session in front of the tube.  —KA

Welcome to serfdom and thanks to the corrupt corporate word, the radical extremist so-called republicans/Fascists,  and the puff pseudo journalism of the MSM.

I think the reality is, it was just a dream. Initially, it was built on stealing, appropriating or whatever you choose to call it, land that belonged to others.  Coupled with slave/semislave labor and a new continent to plunder, a select few could amass fortunes that existed only in the dreams of the masses.  When that ended, we made ever increasing debt the source of the American dream. In my lifetime, I have seen homes, cars, boats, vacations and a wide range of other consumer products acquired at levels unheard of in my childhood.  But it was all charged!!  Nobody really owed anything.  They, literally, rented it.  The dream was always an illusion.  I don’t cry for the loss.  I saw through it decades ago.

Get off the couch and make American dreams ok again. Fight the racism, extremism and corporatism, that is making our Country sick.

I find this satire, squarely pointed at the msn and its spewing of constant pablum, rather then the dream of the American Dream. Mr. Fishs cartoons do the same, I find satire enlightening!

The banks foreclosed on your lease and its now being enjoyed immensely by the bankers and their friends.

They probably should have said thank you.
