New and Improved Comments

We are launching a major overhaul of our comments section.

In addition to more robust spam filtering and moderation, new features include the ability to rate other comments, sort how they are displayed and respond directly via e-mail or in a thread.

Unfortunately, commenters will lose their existing Truthdig identities. It's a pain, we know, but on the plus side you will now be able to log in with a plethora of options, including Google, Twitter, Facebook and Disqus accounts.

Before launching this system we spent months in discussion with our top commenters. We listened to the feedback and we hope you like what we've come up with.

Please direct any problems or concerns to us via our contact page.

A Holocaust can occur because people are still unprepared to accept that some
humans are capable of the most monstrous behavior beyond imagining. We’re due
for holocausts which will dwarf what happened to the Jews in WWII courtesy of
companies who will put profit ahead of any concern for the health and welfare of
fellow humans. The biochemical companies will not care if tens of millions are
sickened, compromised or die early deaths from faulty production.

Yes, we murdered millions in Vietnam with herbacides…

And now we’re doing the same here in Amerika, murdering millions of men women and children, with similar Herbacides…

We also have genetically altered our food to release herbacides, some of which can become part of our gut flora, and continually release herbacides inside of us.

The companies that produce those herbacides, knowingly submitted fraudulent data to the USDA, who doesn’t seem to mind much. Maybe that’s because bio tech stocks would suffer too much if it was revealed, how many miscarrages, Lymphomas, and leukemias those herbacides cause.

Wonderful broadcast as usual. This is my favorite part of truthdig.

Bring back Luengas if possible, and thanks especially for the Wilcox segment. I was born right about the time the Vietnam war ended and not having lived through it I often have a hard time putting the fragments I pick up here and there into a larger sequence of events. I will certainly look this guy up.
