Afghanistan: A Costly and Brutal AnniversaryPosted on Oct 7, 2010
Here’s a sobering reminder, from the vigilant filmmakers at Brave New Films, about exactly what has been lost (thousands of Afghan civilians, more than 1,200 U.S. soldiers, over $1 trillion) in the last decade of the war in Afghanistan. Ten years—and at least someone is counting. —KA Brave New Films via YouTube: Advertisement Previous item: ‘Colbert Report’: This Is How We Do It Next item: Brown Aide Caught on Tape Calling Whitman a ‘Whore’ New and Improved CommentsIf you have trouble leaving a comment, review this help page. Ten years of wasteful spending.
We could have used that money in reforestation, new fisheries and the cleaning up of the great Pacific and Atlantic garbage patches.

sharing what I wrote toBrave New Foundation after the solicitation notice to
support this initiative
Robert Greenwald worked overtime to get Burak Obama elected - when I
joined one of the live blogs during the election to warn that Obama was a Wall
Street puppet, in the pocket of Brzezinski and Gates, chief authors of the Afghan
debacle, my posts were censored - when I saw him come out with RETHINK
AFGHANISTAN, I was livid: Rethink!?!?! - Hell, the whole Global War Of Terror is
crime against humanity - Rethink?!?!? - Several years earlier I bought and hosted
screenings of IRAQ FOR SALE - I even listed our film, THE FALL ‘01
http://www.thefall01.info/ at Brave New Theatres- http://TheFall01.bravenewtheaters.com/
Frankly, now I’m embarrassed to be associated with Greenwald - he strikes me as a wimped out liberal whose work is largely a limited hangout - he may even be a rich asset.
