He only failed because he got tired of killing teenagers and some of them escaped by hiding or swimming away. He even fired at those in the water. The difference being that his manifesto and confession were not obtained by torture but made freely and even proudly because he thinks killing members of the labor party of Norway is his patriotic duty.
