Israel-Turkey: No TV Drama

Posted on Oct 16, 2009
Turkish show

Relations were already strained between Israel and Turkey, owing in large part to the Israeli-Palestinian clash in Gaza last winter, and then came this week’s diplomatic drama caused by a Turkish TV show that depicted Israeli soldiers shooting children in Gaza. Jamal Dajani gauges the fallout on this week’s “Mosaic Intelligence Report” from Link TV.  —KA

I don’t understand this controversy. Israeli soldiers have shot children almost every month the past four decades. This is rarely news in the USA, but makes print overseas. Just do a news search.

Some media;  actors and actresses promoting falsehoods and outright lies and innuendos. Promotes hatred instead of peace.  Imagine.

Current trends seem to suggest that the future of Israel will be that of a binational state.  While this is not something most Israelis want, even many conservative Israelis have concluded it may be inevitable.

Racism, arrogance, supremacy, and dominance attitude that surpasses anything mankind has ever known:

(quotes by Rabbi Manis Friedman author and lecturer, dean of Bais Chanah Women’s Institute of Jewish Studies):

“There are two different and distinct entities: the human being, and the Jew who is part of G-d

We are a G-dly people, we have G-dly souls. Our place is in Heaven, in fact higher than Heaven because Heaven is also a created place, and we are a part of G-d”

“The world wants leadership and who are they going to look to for moral leadership if not the Jews?”

“We are to treat other Jews as Divine beings, because that’s what they are”

Excerpts from:

Some weeks ago a Word Press reported that Jewsih zionists control 96% of the
worlds news media. Wether that is correct or not what still amazes one is that

Shame should also be admitted by honest, principled and ethical Americans for
letting their government continue to support Israeli criminal acts.

It seems that Turkey has the right to air programs about events in that neighborhood, controversial though they may be, with the awareness that various parties may choose to express disagreement and differences.

By the same token, perhaps Israel, whose population contains some survivors and descendents of survivors of a genocide, has the right and some might say, the obligation to air programs about the Armenian genocide - that predated Hitler’s final solution and an event that some say, gave him encouragement to embark on Germany’s most horrific chapter in its history.

Germany, at least, has taken responsibility for its past.  Turkey, by contrast, is still refusing to do so and holds diplomatic relations with its allies hostage to collusion in this denial.

Yes, Amy;  they refused in 1948 all the land offered to them;  and could have prospered as Israel has. They would rather to this very day refuse a state if it had to be next to Israel.  Their leaders, such as they are have misled them for all these 60 years.
best would be a federation with Jordan, which is 68 % palestinian or/and with Egypt, since they are closest in language and history and culture with them.

Howard- We all agree with you. It is the fault of the indiginous Palestinians who dared to complain and resist a colonial invasion which has been for the past six decades gobbling up their land. Israel is a peaceful country with 200 nuclear warheads just for show and display.

Yeah;  jump all over Israel, Turkey.  Lot of nonesense for sure.  No comments about what CAUSED the Gaza incursion….the incessant missles and bombings over the past 4 years into Israel. No, not a word.  What garbage.  Arab countries care little about the Pal’s. Just use ‘em to keep their citizens looking outward.
Pure propaganda and false actors from Turkey’s TV; they are turning from the West and going backwards.  Pure destructive falsehoods. Makes peace impossible.

WATCH: ‘War criminal’ cat-calls interrupt Olmert speech

“The world is continuing to voice its criticism of Israel’s offensive in the Gaza Strip last winter. A recent online video shows former Israeli prime minister Ehud Olmert faced with calls of “war criminal” and “murderer” during a speech at the University of Chicago on Thursday.”

The drama series is mild when compared with the content of “The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine” book by Ilan Pappe. The attack on Gaza is just the latest chapter of Israeli atrocities towards Palestinians.

Israel has not only brutalized the Palestinian community for more than 60 years but they have also ripped out the vocal cords of every country’s free speech. Learn from your history and STOP repeating genocide.

Israel has been committing war crime against the Palestinians for 6 decades. No one should be surprised with the depiction of Israeli soldiers in the show.
