Coulter Laments Limbaugh’s Loss, Makes Wildly Unsubstantiated Claims on Issue of Domestic Abuse

Ann Coulter’s guest appearance Thursday night on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show took a startling turn when she veered from lamenting how Rush Limbaugh’s NFL dream supposedly got sacked by the far left to holding forth about yet another of those “crazy left-wing hoaxes” that have “spooked” the NFL. According to Coulter’s apparent expertise on the subject of domestic abuse: “Husbands rarely beat up their wives ... single women get beaten up more.”

How she arrived at that particular sweeping statement is unclear, but you can read some empirically researched information about domestic abuse here, here and here.

Meanwhile, here’s one clip that Limbaugh’s detractors (and defenders) have pointed to while discussing why the NFL, a privately owned organization, was opposed to letting Limbaugh become a minority investor in the St. Louis Rams.  —KA

The NFL decides who becomes an owner not the other way around.

All this blowhard (Rush Hudson Limbaugh A.KA. Jeff Christie) has to offer is his money and his opinions, (which in my opinion are on the fringes of racism, one mans opinion). There are many more groups biding for the Rams, not just his group. Lets face it there are more men with money (Marshall Faulk) that will gladly fill the slot and the Rams will win or lose depending on how well they work as a team and not on whether or not Rush is an owner.

As for Vick, well he is a player (he has talent not like you, Rush or I, unless you are a NFL player?) and he served his time and the NFL decided we live in the land of second chances, so why not (I personally don’t like it but, oh well). Life has never been fair (NEWS FLASH!)

Now as to the “Free Speech” argument, I guess many of you like myself heard Rush on Thursday “Almost in tears”, priceless. But the last couple of days he now is in his normal ranting and will continue until someone surpasses him, “Free Speech” continues, so what is being stifled, it simply is not true, of course, you may not have a radio, so you might want to get one.

PS – I am sure someone is working to put the tapes together maybe all you subscribers can help, since you are all about getting to the truth?

The lies of the right wing noise machine can be exposed and disproven without giving any more publicity to the biggest liars, except where it is impossible to deal with the issues without mentioning the source of the misinformation. Every lie that Coulter, Limbaugh, O’Reilly, Hannity, Beck and Dobbs utters on a whiff of noxious gas spewed out from their cracked purple lips, is then batted back and forth between the whole team for as long as it still has some bounce in it. It isn’t necessary to trace each and every turd of misinformation back to its original puckered source.

The corporate media tries to appear as an arbiter with the lies of people like Limbaugh, Coulter, O’Reilly, Hannity, and Gingrich. They suggest that there is as much truth behind their lies as their opponents who are smeared.

Coulter like the rest of them does not have to consult the truth because she knows as all the serial liars know that their lies will be aired by corporate news as though they had some basis.

It turns out that the corporate media is probably more responsible for the lies aired in the news than the liars themselves. That is why the lying continues, because the liars know they won’t be revealed as liars by the so-called fourth estate.

There is no objective reporting in any media, making the audience responsible for repudiating the liars.

That we continue to give the likes of Hannity & Limbaugh continued credibility is
incomprehensible. They are both college dropouts and yet the masses continue to
hang on every word they speak. They are authorities on absolutely nothing except
knowing how to manipulate and self promote. It’s incredible to me that such a large number of the
American people put up with such drivel. Yeah, I know, free country and all that.
<sigh>

What you say is true de profundis clamavi ... but when their slander starts to seep into “common knowledge” because of that free publicity it is important to clarify for those who may not even realise the origin of their beliefs.

There are numerous examples but I take, for example, the “liberal media” or the treatment of Acorn or the example in this clip denigrating George Soros as a “Nazi collaborator”.  You won’t stop them lying but the lies have to be exposed when they start to have an impact.

The positions they espouse undermine democracy. Unless they are answered, average people will continue to be manipulated, worhsip their words and vote accordingly. The net effect is lawlessness and high crimes against the American people and humanity.

Coulter, Limbaugh et al make the most outrageous statements they can in order to get mainstream media attention. They appeal to negative emotions of backward thinking, narrow minded, uneducated and unintelligent white men - hatred, jealousy, resentment, xenophobia. They can’t be answered with reasoning because they don’t appeal to reason and the people they appeal to pride themselves on the rigidity of their “beliefs”, not in their willingness to question and re-evaluate their opinions on the basis of new facts. Stupidity is a point of pride with these people.

Reporting on Coulter and Limbaugh in the mainstream media, although presented as ridicule and refutation, only gives them free publicity, which is what they want. It implies that they have ideas and arguments worth considering, which they don’t. It implies that their followers are open to persuasion and reason, which they are not. Reporting and answering back to Coulter and Limbaugh in the mainstream media only spreads their poisonous message further and lends them legitimacy which they do not deserve.

Coulter and Limbaugh are dangerous crackpots. Reporting on them makes them no less crackpots, but more and more dangerous.

It seems to me that all the negative vibes this blowhard (Rush Hudson Limbaugh A.KA. Jeff Christie) has been spewing over these many years has come back to blow back on his face (A classic “Blow Back”).  He always tries to give off the airs that he can have anything he wants but as we all witness those with more money and more influence tossed him aside like sack of potatoes and the ultimate insult was that it was done in public (money don’t buy you everything butterball).

Now of course he blames everyone else (Michael J. Fox, Perez Hilton, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Sonia Sotomayor, Hillary Clinton, Olympia Snowe, ESPN, NFL, the media, basically people of color, the handicapped, women and gays) when of course all you have to do is listen to his show and plainly hear his daily prejudices filled sermons.  So NFL, I salute you decision, job well done. And to the whaling cry baby perched on his self made pedestal, quit your whining it was your own fault.  Don’t we all feel better?

Purplegirl:

Nor should we ignore Coulter’s call for the abolishon of women’s sufferage. While she clearly feels qualified to comment on political and social issues, she apparently doesn’t feel that women have enough wisdom to vote.

“If we took away women’s right to vote, we’d never have to worry about another Democrat president. It’s kind of a pipe dream, it’s a personal fantasy of mine, but I don’t think it’s going to happen.”

Apparently these people still live in an era before Video. ‘Smile you’re on Candid Camera’ Annie!
As for Rush who would know ‘hate’ better than Rush- the man hates Every segment of society- even his less than millionaire listeners.
A Text Book example of Psychological ‘Projection’.
Rushy why be surprised when the millions upon millions you have insulted over the years band together to show you they hate you just as much! FYI the NFL is trying to sell tickets to more than just White Racist,Sexist men.

Financial football - just for kicks.

Just for kicks whites should make the folks sweat that opposed Rush’s NFL investment. Broadcast nationally that opposers made a major hasty and dumb oversight. They were too focused on the majority playing football and not the majority buying tickets. They forgot to make a critical connection. Rush is white, like most NFL fans.

If a white boycott works like a black boycott, the opposers would quickly reconsider at the first hint whites might boycott all NFL games. Reminding them white power is not in our skin color, it’s the green whites have.

Seriously, whites need a white minded version of Jessie Jackson on this issue. A serious threat of a league wide white fan boycott could be racially uniting, if black players then step up to support Rush…..to keep white money in all stadiums.
