Yes, a frog. An innocent amphibian caught in the crossfire (or was it?). It turns out that crazy+television may not be dangerous just to humans. Below are two videos. The first, which we posted earlier, shows Glenn Beck apparently boiling a frog. Your definition of angels is pretty twisted by the way. Last I checked, deities from heaven, at least according to the Bible, don’t make a practice of playing pranks on folks who help poor people. I also don’t think real angels would so clearly relish pretending to be a prostitute and a pimp.

Why are the editors of Truthdig posting this kind of detritus on valuable web real estate?
Glenn Beck may be a demagogic legend in his own mind, but YOU don’t have to listen or watch. Doing so is just perverse!
Please keep this man’s visage off your web pages, or I’ll be forced to look elsewhere on the ‘net for more meaningful pieces on, say, Michael Vick or Irving Kristol, (for god’s sake).

I’ll take you “up” on your premise. I agree with the FIRST PORTION of your premise,(Beck was lying, as this is EASILY believeable) however your second portion is questionable (“if he was doing something sinister, he wouldn’t be where he is”). LOL. But wait… let’s simply be REALISTIC.
As to my last (or maybe YOUR last premise), what is your qualitative proof that this is accurate? You know…, simply BECAUSE Glen Beck says something, does not MAKE IT SO. Factually, Glen Beck HIMSELF has said his show is OPINION. (IMO, doubly so in Glen Beck’s case)
For the record… when someone SAYS, “my show is opinion”, this very literally TRANSLATES as… “I like to shoot my mouth off, and they PAY ME for it”.
BTW, when you say (generically), “If Beck was lying or if he was doing something sinister, he wouldn’t be where he is with a hugh audience.”
I DISAGREE. Prove your position/Qualify your claim.

Funny comments. That’s what happens when you write about something you know nothing about. His point was to show just how easy it was for people like you (readers of this blog and the msm) to get it wrong by using a snippet (which is what happens every freaking time). If Beck was lying or if he was doing something sinister, he wouldn’t be where he is with a hugh audience. Get over it. He is entertaining and you either agree with his opinion or you don’t. Fact is, everything I have ever heard him say (and I’ve listening to him before he ever got to CNN/FOX) can be fact checked. What you decide about the information he gives you is on you. He makes that clear all the time. Since I have no love of liberal, marxist, communist ideology, my opinion is more often the same as his. I do disagree with him on some stuff, but I disagree with the left on EVERYTHING. I hate liars and I hate what the msm has done to journalism. Thank God we now have our new Angels, Hannah and James. Get used to it sheepies. Your eyes are about to be opened and you may not like what you are about to see. The underbelly of the liberal beast.

Beck should consider writing Skits for SNL, or more Appropriately ‘MadTV’.

Honestly if you turn down the volume- you couldn’t tell if his routine is comedy or signs of psychosis.

Now that i have watched several Glenn Beck shows I can see why you think I watch him. His method intentional stimulates bias while it makes a genuine point.
But I was here first. Maybe he reads Truthdig and copies me!

OK I think Beck is a total douchebag, but clearly he didn’t kill any frog. He never grabbed it, he just faked it. He was trying to be funny and make a “point,” such as it was.
