The return to torture tactics is definitely troubling for the nations invested in Iraq’s future, especially since al-Zaidi is drawing attention to the situation - this ( shows the controversy he’s stirred up worldwide.

A new American hero is born.

Obama should invite him to the White House and let him sleep in the George Bush bed.

Muntadar al-Zeidi may be the legacy image from the Bush era.
The last thing he deserved was prison time, where I hope he was revered by the
inmates and staff.
I’d pay good money to shake his hand.
Way to go, M al=Z!

This man is my hero - I felt his anger when he threw those shoes, and thought that it was a miscarriage of justice that he had to go to jail!  And on a personal note, where do I send the check to get him 2 more pairs of shoes!

He could make a fortune by opening a shoe store. I’d buy a pair!
