Joe Wilson

So, Congressman Joe Wilson heckled President Obama during Wednesday’s speech on health care reform. On Thursday, Obama accepted Wilson’s apology, but that same day the South Carolina lawmaker leveraged the situation by posting this video calling for voters’ support and announcing he was “under attack by liberals for standing up against a government takeover of health care.”  —KA

Just look at this man’s eyes.  They look dead, red, and they shift from side to side, never looking directly at the person he’s addressing.  What is a man like this doing in our Congress?  You can’t tell me Wilson’s blatant remark to Obama wasn’t planned.  It was a cheap shot and racist.  I assume he’ll get a big bonus check for revealing his stupidity.  Do the people of South Carolina realize that Wilson and Sanford reflect on their intelligence?

Rodger Lemonde,

The media and nearly everyone is talking about this Republican EXTREMIST, Joe Wilson, and no one is able to do anything about it, which is what the Republicans want; and before long it will be some other EXTREME Republican or Republican EXTREMIST act to keep people minds situated on Republican control of the country, even though Republican EXTREMISTS are only a 10% minority population.  In the minds of the working population the Republican EXTREME are trying to make themselves appear the most powerful, so that the country will just relinquishes their MAJORITY population liberal control to the Right-Wing; i.e., Germany’s Weimar Republic.

Adolph Hitler’s frame in “Mein Kampf”:  “At that time I (Adolph Hitler) adopted the standpoint:  It makes no difference whatever, whether they [the Media, the Democrats & the workers]  laugh at us [the Republican EXTREMISTS] or revile us [the Republican EXTREMISTS], whether they [the Media, the Democrats & the workers] represent us [the Republican EXTREMISTS] as clowns or criminals; the main thing is that they [the Media, the Democrats & the workers]  mention us [the Republican EXTREMISTS], that they [the Media, the Democrats and the workers]  concern themselves with us [the Republican EXTREMISTS] again and again, and that we [the Republican EXTREMISTS]  gradually in the eyes of the workers themselves appear to be the ONLY POWER that anyone reckons with at the moment.  What we [the Republican EXTREMISTS] really are and what we [the Republican EXTREMISTS] really want, we [the Republican EXTREMISTS] will show the wolves of the Jewish press [the Liberals] when the time comes.”

When will people start seeing that the SAME “Mein Kampf” propagandistic system of frames that Hitler used to take control of the Weimar Republic of Germany, the Right-Wing Conservative EXTREMISTS are using on the working people of the United States today?

Joe won’t know the truth until he loses the next
election. The Republican party is morally bankrupt.
Waiving the flag and praising God while offering
nothing but surly bad manners and allegiance to
industries doesn’t serve the people. Serving the people
is job one. Whatever Wilson thinks under his tinfoil
hat is of importance only to the bigots, blunderers and
cynical scum in the pay of the big business parties of
the health industry. Feel free to insert your favorite
expletives in this.

This worthless hapless fuck epitomizes the republican part since 1980.  No ideas, no clue just hate, greed, lies, and deceit. What else needs to be said?

O yes, I’m sure he will be rewarded handsomely for this abrupt meaningless lie. After all what else do the repukes have, besides the trillions they have stolen from honest hard working Americans.

“The level of frustration among the
average citizens is increasing to the breaking point.”

No doubt. So, what are you going to do? My bet is you’ll tune in tomorrow for more of the same, because you love dishing out crap. Why? Let’s think about that…

What are Republicans doing these days besides that? Offering concrete reform proposals? There weren’t any in your message, and I haven’t heard any from Joe Wilson.

To everyone else, stop whining and get moving. You cannot out-shout the conservative news cycle. You need to out-run it. Shut up and get something done.

It’s the perfect cure for frustration. No charge.

But, by the way, if you can’t think of anything to do, cash works. Even ten bucks, but whatever you do, DON’T give it to Joe Wilson, unless you like career politicians who believe in treating people as though you must accept whatever they decide.

From American citizens dieing for no health care, to a senator yelling. If that bill said NO illegals get health care under this plan in BOLD text, then it would be something else. Take Joes healthcare away from him, and his family, or everyone that is against this and lets see how fast something gets passed. This is a joke, and its making a mockery of our politicians, the people that voted them in and the system as a whole.

Joe Wilson was NOT the liar and there were certainly more lies he could have
called out about.  He only did what the rest of us watching from our homes
were doing.  Shouting LIAR at many comments which we knew to be false.  it is
no different at the town hall meetings where people eventually become so
frustrated with double talk and non-answers they get loud and then they are
classified as being an angry terrorist mob.  The level of frustration among the
average citizens is increasing to the breaking point.  People are tired of
Washington idiots treating people as though we must accept what ever they
decide without a thought as to what the people actually want.
When Dems booed Bush, or one of them calls a Republican names, I don’t hear
about apologies being demanded.  But then they are so much more special than
the rest of us.  What we need to do is all send Joe Wilson’s campaign chest
some cash.  It would be a travesty to lose in Congress a man who actually
knows what the truth is.

I do not get it. Several times in both administrations congress has clapped or booed. In this instance the statement prior caused many repugs to boo and say no. I think when Wilson said what he did he did not realize he would be alone. My bigger beef is why is Wrangel not punished for cheating on his taxes(we would go to jail for same) but Pelosi wants a vote to punish this guy

Oh I love it.  Spin it how you may, the fact that so many people rallied behind Joe shows how much the public detests Obama’s health plan.  Let the people be heard!  I just love it!

From, the organization cited here by Gregg as backing up Obama, while the quote he gives is as factcheck wrote it, that is only correct only in so far as it goes.  The rest of that Factcheck article gives a completely different picture, just as Obama does in his claim, exposing both Obama for being less than forthcoming on the facts of the bill and Gregg on the facts of the factcheck aricle.

Further down in that Factcheck article Gregg cites, we read this:

“However, conservative critics object to a lack of specific enforcement measures in the bill. They argue that the lack of a specific verification mechanism constitutes a loophole that would allow illegal immigrants to get benefits despite the legal prohibition. Republican Rep. Dean Heller of Nevada proposed an amendment to the bill that would have required the use of the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements program to check the citizenship of anyone applying for federal coverage or affordability credits. SAVE is the program used by Medicaid and similar entitlement programs. That amendment was voted down along party lines by the House Ways and Means Committee.”

Denying the right of an entitlement to illegal aliens but explicitly refusing to include the means of verifying their elligibility or lack thereof is duplicitous on the Democrats part and shows quite plainly just who the real liar was there in the President’s address.  And it wasn’t Joe Wilson.  Democrats can claim to have forbidden illegal aliens from using their Health Care Plan even while providing them a loop hole about as wide and porous as our Mexican border allowing it.

You will have to scroll down on this webpage to see the article being referred to.

And for MarthaA who seems to be well versed in Mein Kampf, don’t forget Hitler’s tactic of “The Big Lie.”  That seems to be what you are using in your smear post.

From Judicial Watch, an independent organization whose purpose is to keep watch on government officials and expenditures, Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton, this article today:  “Who’s Llying About Healthcare?:

“The liberal media is focusing completely on Congressman Wilson’s ill-mannered outburst, while neglecting to highlight that it came after President Obama said that opponents of his plans for health-care takeover had base motives and were liars. But what about Wilson’s fundamental charge? Is the President correct when he says his healthcare plan will not cover illegals? No.”

Rep. Wilson may have violated House procedure, but considering that he was responding to the President having called opponents of his health care plan liars for saying that the plan will cover illegal aliens, when liars rule, in desperate times procedure should not stand in the way of exposing them for what they are.  And that is what Rep. Wilson did.  Good on him!

Appeasing Right-Wing Conservative EXTREMISTS like Rep. Joe Wilson, who follow Hitler’s Playbook of Political Frames is not in the best interest of the nation as a whole:

Adolph Hitler said in “Mein Kampf”:  ““At that time I (Adolph Hitler) adopted the standpoint:  It makes no difference whatever, whether they laugh at us or revile us, whether they represent us as clowns or criminals; the main thing is that they mention us, that they concern themselves with us again and again, and that we gradually in the eyes of the workers themselves appear to be the only power that anyone reckons with at the moment.  What we really are and what we really want, we will show the wolves of the Jewish press when the time comes.”

Adolph Hitler said in “Mein Kampf”:  “One can never count on protection on the part of the authorities; on the contrary, experience shows that it always and exclusively benefits the disturbers.  For the sole actual result of intervention by the authorities —- that is, the police —- was at best to dissolve, in other words, to close the meeting.  And that was the sole aim and purpose of the hostile disturbers.”

Adolph Hitler said in “Mein Kampf”:  “If through some sort of threats it becomes known to the authorities that there is danger of a meeting being broken up, they do not arrest the threateners, but forbid the others, the innocent, to hold the meeting, and what is more, the run-of-mill police mind is mighty proud of such wisdom.  They call this a ‘precautionary measure for the prevention of an illegal act.’  Thus, the determined gangster is always in a position to make political activity and efforts impossible for decent people.  In the name of Law and Order, the State Authority gives it to the gangster and requests the others please not to provoke him.”

“Mein Kampf” the Playbook used by Right-Wing Conservative EXTREMISTS in the United States is not being used innocently against the liberals—the Right-Wing is trying to do a Weimar thing on President Obama and the liberals.

President Obama and the liberal legislators using Neville Chamberlain Type appeasement of the Right-Wing EXTREMISTS will only be thought of as weakness by the Hitleresque Right-Wing EXTREMISTS, just the same as happened to Neville Chamberlain, when he thought he had negotiated “Peace in our time” with Hitler—- Right-Wing EXTREMIST seek power and nothing else will do.

Wilson showed more courage than the Democrats did during the Bush years and today.  Where were the Democrats yelling “You lie!” to Bush when he stood in front of them and said war in Iraq was necessary?  Where were the Democrats yelling “You lie!” when Cheney said torture was necessary?  Where were the Democrats yelling “You lie!” when Obama said giving trillions to banks was necessary?

Everyone needs to go to and look at the well respected non partisan site has to say on the issue.  It says the following:
“Obama was correct when he said his plan wouldn’t insure illegal immigrants; the House bill expressly forbids giving subsidies to those who are in the country illegally. Conservative critics complain that the bill lacks an enforcement mechanism, but that hardly makes the president a liar.”
Irregardless of what the site says, these elected officials are supposed represent us as some of the finest Americans we have in this Country. The most literate, the most educated, the most talented the most civil.  I can turn to the Jerry Springer show and see that kind of outburst anytime I like.  I do not want to my President whether he be a Republican or Democrat to be heckled by anyone, no matter what the topic. How soon Mr. Wilson forgot the lessons of Teddy Kennedy, and how he rarely agreed with the Republicans was able to work with them and even considered many of them friends.

He told the truth and it was disgusting for the President of America to get away in his speech calling those who opposed him liars.  Double standard? Where is the righteous indignation from the liberal news media that a president would stump to such lows - silent!  The Democrats defeated the verification process that would have kept illegals from leeching on our health care dollars.  That is the truth and it is the way that millions of illegals will get free health care if this bill passes.  Sane discourse- forgive me I have not seen any sanity in the news media on this topic but gobs of the worse propaganda with the biggest lies being told.  In the plain view, they think we are stupid. Obama lied!  He knew it too.  Perhaps we need more of the British parliament discourse in our public presentations because the liars can be called to task on the spot.
