Obama’s Choice: Is It Really Such a Tough Call?Posted on Sep 8, 2009
Sure, being POTUS is tough sometimes, and you’re bound to royally tick off a large percentage of your constituency no matter what you do. But in the case of health care reform, President Obama, you have one Lee Stranahan, an “uninsured father taking on the health insurance industry,” to help you break this one down. —KA YouTube: Advertisement Previous item: Parents: Stalk Your Own Kids on Facebook Next item: Passengers Freed from Hijacked AeroMexico Jet CommentsAre you a Truthdig member yet? This blind faith is the scary part. If you think that this inexperience Harvard lawyer with the slick teleprompter aided quips has your best interest at heart, you are sadly mistaken. This president has no one’s interest in mind but his own political power. He preaches financial accountability and wastes millions to take his wife to New York for “date night”. He has doubled our deficit in under 100 days, and this healthcare bill will cripple the current system. We need reform, but we need responsible reform, not more socialist rhetoric from this marxist dictator, er president Obama.

Won’t lisen to the speech. Feel so betrayed that I can no longer watch or listen to this man.
Will get an analysis of the important points from various progressive blogs and perhaps KO or Rachel.
Then will wait to see what happens with both the WH and Congress.
BTW: On Countdown last night, Lawrence O’Donnell says the WH has no idea the scale of the shitstorm that is going to erupt on the left via the internet if the WH & Dems in Congress cave in on the public option. O’Donnell’s point seems to be that despite the Obama campaign’s brilliant use of the internet, as an administration it is still unaware of how progressive outsiders will mobilize once they realize they really have been sold out.

Obama made this statement: “we’ve been fighting for quality, affordable health care for every American for nearly a century century!’ If this statement is true, let’s remind Obama that Jimmy Carter & Bill Clinton were in the White House so why couldnt they fix it!
But with Obama admitting this health care reform has been going over a decade—Obama was in President for 6 months and said: ‘WE HAVE A PLAN—TIME TO ACT NOW’ THIS BILL MUST BE APPROVED BEFORE AUGUST RECESS!
If it has taken a decade to try and share health care reform, (which included 2 previous Democratic Presidents, Obama plan was quickly drawn—wanted it passed without anyone reading. A bill in which Pelosi behind closed doors were writing—twisting arms to vote on it before reading the reform—Pelosi displayed her own desire to be the only one who would know what was in the bill (including the President and his wife.
Pelosi doesn’t have or doesn’t care what the American people have to say about healthcare reform.
Since the President established the case—a decade with Democratic Presidents couldn’t do it, but I can and will do it NOW!
Just think—ALL MEDICAL RECORDS UNDER WHITE HOUSE DOMAIN!
Obama is giving the private insurance companies to submit a plan (just like General Motors) if we accept how they are going to cut medical costs—the same thing was offered to GM—what happened—The Govt shut them down—sent Chrysler overseas to Fiaat) if you swallow his line—without Congress carefully reviewing the bill—
Americans we are in trouble!
Remember when they speak about health care reform—
the American people will have to pay for life insurance—dental insurance—and then whatever premium this Administration decides to charge you for medical healthcare reform!
Check it out. Make sure you let elected officials this is still not acceptable. This Administration can not do the same thing that was done to the General Motors.
Also—this is a sly way to get the bill passed.

If Obama waffles tonight, we know that he is not one of us. Should he fail, we know that our country has been completely hijacked by special interests. If we can clearly see no future but the one planned for us by those who no longer care about America, our path is clear. TIME FOR REAL CHANGE!

All right! Good. How does one fight back when no body gets it. Body bags wait in the cop cruiser trunks for the nightly reaping of the homeless. Without the great good, there is the horrible bad. Universal single payer NOW! What is wrong with us? there is no us…is that what it is?..c’mon let’s our 9/11 on, “let’s roll!” ehahah

After the trickle down solution to ‘stable-ize’ the financial markets and watching
Report thisbonuses trickle down on financial managers and CEO while the middle class

Afghanistan to bring ‘democracy to the region’ and watching the taliban and
