As American schoolkids clamber back onto buses and funnel into classrooms, the federal government is working on ways to squelch the swine flu virus, which may not be as ferocious as health officials first feared but is proving to be pretty tenacious. President Obama, as well as a familiar red fuzzy friend, are on the case in this clip from The Associated Press. —KA

It seems that fears over the new swine flu vaccine are continuing to rise as we get closer to the beginning of the swine flu vaccination programme. Will you have a swine flu vaccine if offered?

Wow… is that “Gordon”? (Hi…Gordon…!) It kinda looks like him but
hey the ‘ol brain is confused. I think it is Gordon.
Elmo is really not MY favorite…. I happened to love
“Cowboy X” and “Ernie” but, hey…. we all have our
favorites.

Regarding the “H1N1”...

Can we engage a rendition of: “One of these facts is
not like the others, one of these facts, just doesn’t
BELONG, can you guess which fact is not like the
others by the time I finish my song…. Do,
do..do..do..doot..do…di…do…do…...mmm…mmm…mm”
