Settlement Freeze: Been There, Done ThatPosted on Aug 28, 2009
The Obama administration hopes to announce a resumption of Israeli-Palestinian peace talks. But Israel’s ever-expanding network of settlements seems to stand in the way. Will a new push for “settlement freeze” succeed? Or will Netanyahu’s delay tactics prevail? bogi666,
I don’t know, maybe it is because Israel asks and since Israel is an ally of the United States, the United States gets involved. I certainly wouldn’t want any harm to come to Israel, but I certainly wish Israel could figure out a way to get along with the Palestinians, so there could be PEACE in Jerusalem for both Israel and Palestine. There has to be a way, this fighting all the time has got to stop.

Druthers, it doesn’t seem Mossad has any dirt on President Obushama, although some of his advisers may be susceptible to Mossad information.

Is it possible to imagine how much dirt the Mossad must have on their American targets? Do those using the information get any dirtier than Netanyahu?

In July 2004, the International Court of Justice ruled that The Wall and All of the settlements are grave violations of human rights and against International Law as well as obstacles to peace.
USA Taxpayers provide over 3.4 BILLION a year to maintain the 42 year illegal occupation of Palestine.
Over 1.5 MILLION per mile go to erect the apartheid wall.

We Know Something the State Department Doesn’t Know:
As the Obama Administration presses forward on its so far fruitless efforts to get Israel to freeze its illegal settlement building in the occupied Palestinian West Bank and East Jerusalem and end its criminal siege of the occupied Palestinian Gaza Strip, it seems at a loss on how to proceed or how to exert any effective pressure on Israel to achieve these goals.
If the United States doesn’t like Israel’s practices, then we should exert pressure on Israel to change its behavior.
And the quickest and most effective way to do so is by ending U.S. military aid, which is misused by Israel in violation of U.S. law to kill and injure Palestinian civilians and sustain Israel’s illegal occupation of the Palestinian West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Gaza Strip.
Unfortunately what seems so obvious to us hasn’t yet registered with the Obama Administration, which is why we need to organize to educate and build political support to put this policy option on the radar screen of our elected representatives.
Learn lots and help US:

A settlement freeze is against International Law.
Report thisThe 1919 Paris agreement and the 1922 Madate make it clear that Jews are obligated to settle the land between the Med and the Hejaz railway (in Jordan).
The Two State Solution was settled in the Paris agreement and no other settlement is required or would be legal. Jerusalem has been the capital city of the Jews for 3,500 years and the Arabs have no claim what so ever to it.
Its about time the Arabs and their Loony Left useful idiots stopped telling lies.

To understand the history behind settlements, I recommend reading the Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine by Israeli scholar Illan Pappe.

Answer to your questions: yes. Why, because our elected representatives are good soldiers. The chain of command goes beyond our President.

This seem to be a continuing saga, for the last 5000 years in fact. The contentiousness for that same land has been documented for the past 5,000 years. Just why is it that the USA has to get involved anyway?
