Some have a richer sense of humor than others.  and some can recognizes it better than others.  So much for equality among humans.  Colbert’s mockery of society, through parody, especially and surreptitiously criticizing the Rightists, even though, cleverly, it often looks as if he is among them.  But an attentive ear would show that while not a liberal, he sticks hot pokers in the absurdities that is the Republican propaganda strategies.  But he definitely does not pull punches against Dummocrats either.

Awww,you know I want to say we shouldn’t all pick on the “Colbster” he is just doing what he is paid to do.You know get all the information out there, then just discredit all of it with what he calls “humor”.I so agree with all the posts. Colbert’s unparalleled hyperbole shows the idiocy as he says, of hopping on a
Pogo stick in church, uh, “to get closer to Jesus on the high points of the
hops,” and what benefit it does for humanity.  He probably meant from the triple
hops brewing process high points you get from drinking the usual two six-packs
of Miller Lite.  It could become the next sacred beverage.
