In this clip from Sunday’s episode of “Meet the Press,” Sen. John McCain goes into Papa Bear mode to defend his former running mate, Sarah Palin, but his show of support seems a little strained at times—as when he says “I don’t think she quit,” for example.

One Poser giving ‘creditability’ to another Poser? Please.
First thing- McCain has no creditibility himself, so why do must we be subjected to an interview?
McCain showed no more Bravery or Valore than any other soldier or POW. Yet I hear no other Vets being asked about their thoughts. So the Glory Story he leverages his political life off is no more relevant than any other Vets.
Then he has that messy scandal we called Keating 5 - how many of those involved still hold public office?
Then add the apron string affiliation with Mr & Mrs Enron. Obviously Economics was not your forte, apparently neither is finanacial Fraud.
Nor should we overlook McCains continued reverence for those ‘Afghani freedom Fighters’ his group provided aid and comfort to in the ‘80’s who used their new found wealth and power to attack US on 9/11. Heckova Job, Johnny Boy!
And Pray Tell McCain how did You “Know” the anthrax came From Saddam only days after the attacks, when science could not yet discern it’s orgins?
And do enlighten US as to WHY you have yet to Tell anyone exactly How to ‘Catch Bin Laden’, since you also claim to “Know” that too.
McCain couldn’t retain the information Lindsay Graham whispered in his ear 24 hour later- Does he even remember who Sarah palin is anymore?
McCain should follow Sarahs lead and Quit, It would be the first Real act of Patritoic selflessness he has ever exhibited.

Sarah Palin selection was like a hail mary pass. The game was lost and her desperation pick was their last shot. It she wasn’t so uneducated and so ill informed it might have worked. So what else would you expect from a hillbilly from wasilla. Quit while someone still listens to your BS and take the money and run. Ellie Mae Clampett knows she will never be president, but she can get rich spreading hatred, bigotry and divisefness. MCcain should have known better. His problem was being the Republican who had to follow Bush and Cheney.

“Meet the Press,” would cease to exhist were it not for the reliable, weekly appearances of non-significant GOPers frantically looking for an audience! And NBC frantically trying to make their “showpiece” show look like a meaningful news shaper and shaker.

But if you’re really bored, and have nothing else to do on Sunday morning, “Meet the Press” can be good for a chuckle or two. smile
