So Whatever Happened to Obama’s ‘Sunlight’?Posted on Jun 26, 2009
If, as President Obama once claimed, “sunlight is the best disinfectant,” then why is his administration keeping a significant amount of information in the dark? Check out this clip from last night’s “Daily Show” to find out why Jon Stewart is responsible for at least some of that. “The Daily Show With Jon Stewart”:

If Obama is worse than Clinton it would be that he doesn’t have a problem with his libido or anything else I am aware of that could compromise him. The Achillies Heel of Clinton was his libido. A perfect face for the shadowy cabal in charge of it and us. Marketing does work!
With a tame monopoly of a two party system in their pocket it is just a question of finding decently qualified people to appear to run it.
After a while even the roaches get bold enough not to be afraid of the light if they have nothing to fear. We haven’t crossed that threshold just yet but it could be anytime. It isn’t over yet.
If you thought voting would change anything in a corrupt system then you really are in bliss. The cabal would never allow anyone to actually make a change away from the path they have set us on do you?
Report thisKucinich would have and you saw what they did to him. Any third parties are off the table and not allowed the forum they need to be ‘viable’ with the public.

Cathy—thanks. I do understand Af Ams support for and interest in putting an Af Am in the WH (as well as other Ams desire to do so). But enough is enough!
It is as Ford said, Obama has done what Bush could not do (or did the opposite of)—divided the Left.
I just wish that it had been a progresive Am…of any race. US is in a BAD way!
I am a female and wouod like to see a female in the WH—but that doesnt mean that I could support someone like Hillary or Palin.
I think Obama is alot like Clinton—-perhaps worse.

Wad ya spect? When the campaign was pared down to who the msm wanted, obama, on tv, guaranteed the full support of OUR government to corporate america and the american izraeli public affairs committee which, I dunno, but for me, it was him telling me that I had been rescinded so I rescinded him to vote for another by overstepping that barrier of ‘if I don’t vote democrat then I must vote republican’ so I voted for a 3rd party and even though I did, for the first black president of the USA, obama sure is a disappointment because as the first black president I expected more but the best I could come out with was that ‘special interests’ will most likely always try to keep this a 2 party system.

Well if you bend over and put your head between your legs you will probably get a glimpse of were the sunshine peeks out the crack.
Berry is just another dupe for the world bank structure and we are being brought into alignment with the rest of the third world nations.
These folks are not going to stop, the plans were laid out long ago, we will continue to be poisoned, the land will continue to be destroyed, the infra structure will continue to crumble, children will still go to war, the majority still won’t have health care that’s worth a damn and you will continue to be lied to except on Friday nights when the cheese bag’s in this administration dump on you.
Your make believe culture is coming to an end, but the show is just beginning and what a show it will be. So take it like a good audience, or not?

KDelphi, thank you for the link. Excellent site. I was reading the entire article and the comments and this one particularly stood out for me:
“Most of the black people I have spoken with recently seem almost catatonic when it comes to their ability to think critically about Obama’s presidency and what it means for African people.
Report thisAcquaintances and friends I once considered intelligent and introspective now appear obtuse and shallow. My niece who I have long admired for her insight and wisdom is unrecognizable when she adorns her self in her Obama garb. The transformation is almost as startling and terrifying as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
The above description might seem a bit dramatic, but it is uncannily accurate. I am still reeling from the email exchange I had with her a couple of days ago.
She is not the only one. Other black folks I have come in contact with before and after the election have been equally adrift and irascible when the conversation involves anything other than praise and admiration for our first black president.
I was talking to a Nation of Islam representative a few days ago, and I tried to inform him of some of Obama’s positions on issues affecting the black community. He immediately tried to change the subject to focus on my belief in God and my willingness to forgive. I am telling you people it is frightening. I can understand Cynthia’s reluctance to return to the battlefield, but i guess we don.t have much choice.

Hummph…not harsh enough, but, I still like him—Jon Stewart, that is.
Glen Ford from the Black Agenda Report:
http://www.blackagendareport.com/?q=content/obama’s-emerging-legacy-wars-bankers-and-profit-healthcare
Obama’s Emerging Legacy: Wars, Bankers and For-Profit Healthcare
“...been all down hill for the CBC since 2002, a steady slide into corporatism and irrelevance. With the Black progressive “core” definitively demobilized since January 20, the Left is largely adrift….
..Obama has accomplished what George Bush could not: virtually silence progressive voices in Congress, so that he can stoke the fires of war on two fronts without significant challenge from the legislative branch. It is a great victory, so why not congratulate the president, and give him the elemental respect of recognizing that he is – or is trying his best to be – a Man of War?..
...better, and ultimately more respectful, to judge a politician, or any person, by the accumulated body of his work. Based on his record as candidate and president to date, it is plain that Obama sees the world as the bankers see it. He accepts their advice because he agrees with it. He shares their core ethic, and is therefore always forgiving of their “excesses.” The fate of his presidency is entwined with theirs….
Report thisAt some point in the near future Barack Obama will become inextricably associated in the public mind with Big Capital – and deservedly so. No one can predict when this perceptual critical mass will be reached, but once it has occurred, it sticks.
The aftershocks of the recent meltdown and the before-shocks of the next, onrushing crisis of capitalism will bring a cascade of calamities to the doorstep of the White House. With each crisis, Obama will do what we now know comes natural to him: protect capital at all costs to society as a whole.
With their champion saddled with such baggage, it will be interesting to see when “Progressives for Obama” become extinct….”.

Idarad has put his finger on crucial usse that indicates that Obama is continuing the Bushite policies to create an American police state. He is on the verge of announcing, solely on his say so, a policy that can imprision people for life because he says they’re dangerous. No trials, no evidence.
No Constitution. Change You CAn Beleive In.

I’ll bet y’all believed that whore who said she loved you. Well, she diddled you, took your money and gave it to her pimp. Extend the metaphor to Obama—you’ll wake up someday.

“The Obama administration, fearing a battle with Congress that could stall plans to close Guantanamo, has drafted an executive order that would reassert presidential authority to incarcerate terrorism suspects indefinitely, according to three senior government officials with knowledge of White House deliberations.
Such an order would embrace claims by former president George W. Bush that certain people can be detained without trial for long periods under the laws of war. Obama advisers are concerned that bypassing Congress could place the president on weaker footing before the courts and anger key supporters, the officials said.” By Dafna Linzer and Peter Finn Propublica
I am sick of OBUSHMA - during the campaign he asked if we wanted 4 more years of Bush- I thought he was talking about McCain - hell he was talking about himself

Oh well it’s different when HE does it & besides he inherited such a mess & he’s concentrating on the economy or bailing out the banks or selling out the Sheeple or blah blah or maybe laughing at the fools who believed a single word falling from his lips so please attend the next fundraiser & bring your checkbook or VISA is okay they take that or firstborns or donations in kind; and you have to be patient, very patient, because he’s always tired and it’s always Family First, so patience perverts & others, incestuous or not.

The sun set on his sunlight as well as on his ‘change’. No more sunshine for Obama unless he takes Michelle to the beach on date night.
