That Bloody Iran Crisis ThingPosted on Jun 23, 2009
In case you haven’t heard, this whole Iran election crisis thing is about us. Is Barack Obama doing enough to aid our fellow Iranian freedom fighters? Are Westerners the cause of the protests? Watch this clip of last night’s “Daily Show” to find out.

Well anyone with an age/IQ combination of 10 or greater knows the US government is trying to get as many innocent Iranians killed as possible. The US government does this all the time in every country where they believe they can influence thru intimidation, which is most of the world.
If it does not work then the regime is discredited as a leftist militant oppressor. Isn’t it funny how any country that takes care of its citizens rather than the US controlled corporations is leftist militant? And suddenly becomes a country that is a threat to world peace?
But as long as the American hating, freedom hating, liberty hating bush republicans control everything including the democrats in congress, nothing will change except millions of innocent lives will be destroyed so a few greedy pigs can have more.
Fine story.

If you watch enough Daily Show, you should know what I mean. Stewart’s satire is weak, watered down, and most of the time he goes along with what the phony left mainstream media says, especially when it comes to our foreign policy (he supports war in Afghanistan/Pakistan), Israel, etc.
Recently, he did some horribly obtuse coverage of the Somalian piracy story, and in one of the last episodes, did a cringeworthy special on how all Iranians absolutely LOVE America. And he’s an Obama fanboy, praising him on every show.
He makes enough wisecracks to appease certain progressives, but it’s just not enough for me anymore. I can’t watch this “satire-lite.”

The so-called blathering has in it many deft and adroit examples of the kind of speech that makes America great. Satire and other forms of ridicule of the current state of affairs in most countries can and does help entertain and even inform the people of America and the world of just what is happening in countries that do not have and discourage ‘free speech.’
Report thisWe are close to the end of the time when there will be any forms of ‘free speech,’ even in America. So cherish the satire and comedy while you can.

I’m so sick of Jon Stewart. I’m glad he made the point that we shouldn’t meddle in Iran’s affairs, but everything else he said was obfuscating blather as usual.
