As if he didn’t have enough on his plate, President Obama is tackling health care reform. That’s right, America. It’s high time we put down our pancake-wrapped sausage on a stick dipped in baconnaise and start getting healthy. Check out this clip from last night’s “Daily Show.”

MATHEMATICALLY ILLITERATE? WHO, US?
The old saw has it that the lottery is a tax on the mathematically illiterate. But the apparent lack of interest in the health care debate might tell us that mathematical illiteracy is nearly universal.
2003 - US deaths by heart attack - 500,000; heart attacks, total - 1,500,000; silent heart attacks - 3,000,000 more.
Deaths by bee sting - 60. Deaths by terrorism - 23.
Comments about a (single payer) US healthcare system - Zero. Comments about everything else, including terrorism? Don’t ask. Gazillions, e.g. - Huffpo Iran - 49,943.
