On Wednesday, MSNBC news anchor Rachel Maddow revealed the ties between Dr. Tiller’s alleged assassin Scott Roeder, to the extremist antiabortion group “Operation Rescue”, and how he repeatedly got away with violating federal laws protecting abortion clinics.

kim,

Mercilessly and uncompassionately killing a near-term live baby and throwing the live baby with the baby crying in the trash is unconscionable for a civil society, though a nurse would be fired if she told on a sadistic doctor, who would deny such practice, as it isn’t, hopefully, commonly accepted.

If a horse breaks its leg the horse is mercifully shot to keep the horse from needless suffering, and the unwanted aborted human being should receive nothing less.  Apparently some clinics don’t choose to spend the money on euthanasia to anesthetize the child, a bullet would be cheaper and more merciful.

I do not think this type of practice could continue if people were aware, as people as a whole are not so far gone that they have no compassion on a child laying in the trash crying until death, or being salted and pulled apart.  There are more compassionate ways of abortion, like inducing labor and euthanasia.
Near-term abortion clinics must have windows placed in their surgical rooms where this type of abortion is done so that all people will be able to see and hear, to stop this type of cruel sadistic practice.  Electing to kill the young is a choice in the United States, but sadistically killing unmercifully should not be a choice, EVER.

Again Maddow, along with Olbermann, Cocco and other stop-the-torture peace activists, has failed to address the root cause: the unconscionable salt-poisoning and hacking to death of unborn humans (more than half of them female). The specter of an abortionist stabbing to death a live baby as she is being born is one to remember. Another is the testimony of several women RN’s in recent years describing not-killed babies thrown into a bucket screaming by the abortionist, left to die of exposure in excruciating pain. I had been watching these news programs nightly but, considering the heartlessness of the two mentioned, I will join those moving to more humane news sources.

Cheryl Sullinger doesn’t look like the brightest bulb
on the Christmas tree.  Maybe the anti-abortion people should find a director with a little more common sense.

One should consider the possibility that the Democratic Party political leadership has cynically permited the activities of known members of militias and racist death squads in order to create fear and dependence among key sectors of its traditional electorate: Feminists, gays and Africian Americans.  This electorate feels vulnerable and is told over and over again by Democratic Party propagandists that only Democrats in power can ‘protect’ them - even though experience shows that under Democratic Administrations, these acts are not solved or stopped….they are just exploited for political purposes.
Terrorizing the traditional constituents of the Democratic Party - helps to consolidate the Democratic Party elite in power.  And…the feminists, gays and African Americans become too frightened to pay attention to the profoundly reactionary agenda of this ruling Democratic Party elite - both in domestic economic and police policy and in the expansion of militarism and wars of occupation.  The continuity of broad reactionary domestic policies, which has destroyed our standard of living and, of militaristic foreign policies, which has depleted our treasury and caused immense suffering in other countries - is the hallmark of our two-party elite system.  Just consider -the anti-war candidate, now in power President Obama’s secret war in Pakistan has created in a short period of time an acute refugee crisis of over 2 million people driven from their traditional homes with no provision for these destitute victims who crowd the cities.
When it comes to real domestic law and order (which, after all, all people need and want), the Republican elite are clearly more principled - The Republicans don’t tolerate domestic death squads (maybe they prefer to do the killing themselves - quietly).  Among the Republican Party elite one finds plenty of reactionary gays (Cheney’s influential daughter, for example) who have no tolerance for primitive mindless violence against gays and there are lots of sophisticated upper class and middle class Republican women who fully expect to have access to safe abortions.  It is not in their interests to let the hillbillies burn clinics or violate church services. Its too messy.
My hypothesis about the Democratic Party Administrations’ tolerance of domestic extremist violence remains to be proven.  Let’s see if these attacks escalate despite the massive expansion of police state policies and forces, which were put in place under the previous administrations.  Maybe this pattern will become too obvious and the victims won’t plead for protection from the Democrats again.  Maybe the victims will finally think for themselves - and demand that the rights of everyone to peace and security be respected - everywhere.

As far as I can remember - no clinic was bombed or MD killed during the Bush Administration. Ashcroft quickly captured the bombers and snipers who had eluded Clinton’s Justic Department for 8 years and no serious attacks on clinics occurred.
Now the attacks and killings have started up… again under the Democratic Obama Administration - We known that the Obama Justice Department and its FBI is fully informed about the recent upsurge in activities of these violent domestic extremists.  These militia and racist groups are always under surveillance and there are paid informers - just like the KKK was infiltrated and monitored by the FBI earlier.  Looking at this changing pattern of acts of domestic terrorism during Democratic Party and Repubican Party Administrations - it is easy to propose a deliberate policy of tolerance:  Despite numerous warnings and complaints to the Kansas FBI specifically about Roeder, the FBI under Obama’s Attorney General Holder allowed the horrific public death squad-type execution of Dr. Tiller. While serving as an usher in his own church this physician’s head was almost blown off at close range by a well-known violent militia member in the presence of scores of his friends and neighbors.  What is the message here?  Run to the FBI for protection of your civil rights?  Run to the Democrats for protection of your civil rights?

Why did nothing happened to the infamous Dr. Tiller during the Bush Administration?  After all, we feminists had always been told that under a Republican Administration, all access to safe reproductive services would be curtailed and back alley abortions would be the norm once again.  Why was Dr.Tiller allowed to work as an abortion provider - during the entire Bush Administration without a single serious violent attack?
Dr. Tiller had survived an assassination attempt in 1993 during the Clinton Administration.  Did Clinton’s Attorney General stop any of these attacks?  Did Clinton stop the mysterious burning of scores black churches in the South or find the arsonists?  Clinton (a political Munchausen-Syndrome-by-Proxy opportunist) benefited enormously from these attack: he ‘felt our pain’ and assured us only his Administration could protect our civil rights…all the while bombings, assassinations and the church burnings continued - unsolved.

Before Americans try (and fail) to resolve international issues such as terrorism and conflicts in the middle east, they should worry about the terrorists and extremists in their own midst.

America is a land of laws. It also follows that the extent of a nation’s corruption is measured by the number and complexity of it’s laws. Add to this that when corrupt persons are in position to make laws they produce corrupt laws which task others to obey them while providing the chosen loopholes to escape. I truly believe that the USA is in rapid decline ala Assyrian empire and we are beginning to see the backlash as evidenced by the powerful consuming their own and jumping ship with as much as they can steal and take with them.

Are we the general public to believe that the FBI, cannot support a FEDERAL LAW?
This is an abomination, the agency charged with protecting the reproductive rights of women, has no power to enforce the law?
Why do we put up with this?  No one in their right minds would kill to protect the fetus, the idea that taking someones life to protect another is anathema.
We are supposedly a civilized society, yet the powers that be are protecting the very ones that harm and abuse those that are working for the health of women.
It is illogical to think that by killing someone, you
are protecting the other. For the very same people that decry abortion are the very ones that support and defend the rights of the state to murder innocent
people. Among those that are most vocal about the so-called death penalty are El-Rushbo, and all of the
rest of the hate-mongering ideologues that spew venom and deceit every day on the “public airwaves.”
Can we stand to let this happen too much longer? I would hope that saner minds would prevail and stop the hate-mongers in their tracks. But knowing the Far Right Wing Nuts, this will not happen, the way to overcome this twaddle is to put into the public forum, reasonable and sane ideas and people who can disagree agreeably.  Those who can counter emotion with logic and reason.
It is long past time that the ‘fair and balanced’ Far Right Wing Nuts, have their day. We the people, must now take back the airwaves from the corporatocracy and put the television and radio stations back into the hands of the people.
This and only this, will counter the wave of hate and incitement of violence that is coming from the Far Right Wing Nuts.

Why aren’t the individuals in “law enforcement” not being arrested and held for not enforcing the laws? The complicity in this shooting of Dr. Tillman appears to include the F.B.I. and the individuals within it who brushed previous crimes away as ... what? ... “just annoying acts?”

More Bush favoritism in putting the religiously aligned into positions of power to further the fanatic agenda?

This is a re-post from my comment on Joe Conason’s article about domestic terrorism. It may be repetitive, bit that does not mean it is less pertinent. We cannot allow our government to pick and choose who is a terrorist, if we expect to deal with the problem. At the same time guys who commit assault and utter racist statements are charged with the secondary crime of ‘terroristic threatening’, we turn known terrorists lose to act again.

Does any rational person believe this is not deliberate?

re-post:
Demonizing the others, no matter who they are, is an invitation to violence. Hitler used it very effectively with the help of the Goebbels’ propaganda machine. Dehumanizing Jews, Gypsys, homosexuals, Eastern Europeans, Communists, and anyone else who disagreed with the Nazi goals, made it easy for non-political Germans to do the killing.

Today, our ‘PUBLIC’ airways are used to dehumanize Muslims, Mid-Easterners, immigrants, women, Gays, and ‘Liberals’. Oh, I forgot all the anti-gun lobbyists who don’t believe in the Constitution…

Low and Behold! The folks who listen to this garbage believe it. Why not? It’s in the newspaper, and on TV and radio, it must be true The listeners may have a few loose nuts and bolts to begin with, but this stuff easily convinces them they are under attack.

So, they go out and get a gun, or some dynamite, or a bunch of bomb masking stuff like common fertilizer, or anthrax spores, and get rid of the enemy.

And our Government does little or nothing to protect us from these home grown crazies. I believe this is because at least half of the elected and appointed officials, and our military, and our civil servants, believe the same shit. In the name of ‘Free Speech’ and the 2nd Amendment, we give a license to those who want to destroy us.

Hell, we even appoint them to life-time jobs on the Federal bench!

This man should have been in jail, period!  And for those against abortion that is your right, but how many kids have you adopted or fostered?  How many kids that are not physically yours do you provide for?  How many parents do you provide free or reduced cost day care services for?

Tell me do you also oppose teaching sex ed in favor of abstinence only programs that have not been shown to work?  Tell me how many people have you taken in, because you realize that their times are tough, too tough to add an additional mouth to feed?  Before you stand and harass another womans reproductive service center - STOP AND REALLY ANSWER THE QUESTIONS ABOVE!!
