Even Fox News’ Shep Smith said it: America doesn’t torture ... although the recently released set of torture memos belies that declaration. The problem is that the credit card companies have gotten the laws they co-wrote and bribed big time for. And it is madness because I think that in the end the credit card companies have signed their own doom. That needs to be altered.

Our society is out of whack! Why are things so expensive, and we are paid so little, that we must have credit to survive normally? That must end. It used to be you could purchase a car or a house with minimal payments and be fully paid within months or a few years but not now. Thirty and forty year mortgages now are common. That is the other side of the same problem. When both are addressed we shall have economic harmony.

We should all use cash more and more and more. Then we will use credit cards less and less and less. That is the best way for the average person to spend less and less and also feel the true and minimum cost at the time of purchase of any product or service. It is much better for the merchant and crafts person too. Credit cards are a private tax on every financial exchange. it drains money out of every community for nothing in return.

Americans need to regulate the credit card companies by turning in the cards or leaving them lie dormant. Soon the ‘big boys’ would be sending us special rates to get us to use our cards.
WHEN YOU THINK A CHARGE IS TOO HIGH, DON’T BUY!
