It hasn’t taken Benjamin Netanyahu long to show his true colors by creating new hoops for the Palestinians to jump through in order to resume peace negotiations with Israel. This week’s “Mosaic Intelligence Report” has the story.

Ed, you and Diamond are wrong if you think that Obama will not attack Iran because Bush didn’t.  Obama is controlled more completely by Zionism.  And as a professional politician is main aim is getting elected next time.  He aboslutely needs the Zionist lobby to do so, since he is shitting all over his Progressive support.

As soon as Obama’s cheerleaders realize that he is pursuing Bushite policies with marginal changes and a differen rhetoric, his main Dem suppport will come from right wing Dems, most of whom are Zionists.  Many of them are deluded fanatics, like the right wing Gops.  Attacking Iran is no crazier than attacking Pakistan.  It is quite conceivable that before the next election Obama could summon up war hysteria to divert attention from his failed economic and social policies.

I agree that it is unlikely, but the unlikely sometimes happens.  Especially as he is continuing the Bushite Roadmap for Peace, which Natanyohu continues ethnic cleansing.

According to Congressional Quarterly, online, Obama is going to be out of town when Netanyahu plans his visit. Rahm Emanuel has already argued with N., telling him the administration wants Israel to give the West Bank to the Palestinians. Emanuel is going to be around to continue the argument when Netanyahu gets here. I hope the CQ has someone to record part 2. (I’ve been extremely critical of Obama for his handling (or not) the economy, for not killing Bush’s upperincome tax cuts, for caving in to Republicans on other liberal issues. But if he hangs tough here, telling Netanyahu we don’t support an attack on Iran, and insisting that it’s time to give the West Bank back to the Palestinians, maybe there’s hope for him yet.

Benny Morris has also just published his new book “One State, Two States” which will give Netanyahu and Lieberman another huge headache, as his formula suggests even more land for the Palestinians.

This is the first time since Netanyahu formed his government that I’ve stopped being completely depressed.

Israel does not want peace!  Netanyahu does not want peace!  Maybe if it did, they would not continue to throw up barriers to peace!  Instead of trying to incite violence with Iraq!  Puhlease, even if (& its a really big IF here) Iraq has weapons - their weapons systems cannot carry anything nearly as far as Israel!  The Israeli’s are paranoid, maybe rightly - their hostility toward the Palestinians and their Muslim neighbors should make them behave better, but they won’t stop until a nuke is set off!  Of course while it may rid them of their neighbors - it will rid Israel of itself as the inhabitants that might survive will not be able to do so in that nation!

Iran is five times the size of Iraq and they haven’t attacked another country for a couple of centuries. Even George W.Bush wouldn’t sign the paper to attack Iran so I hardly think Obama would. Netanyahu and Lierbermann and many others are stupid enough to try to do it on their own, hoping to draw America in when it all goes to hell but the thing that will stop all of them is that Iran will close the Straits of Hormuz and stop the flow of oil. The only possible chance of ‘victory’ is a nuclear holocaust which would see radiation drifting over the entire Middle East including Israel and also see all the oil and oil infrastructure destroyed. Oil will then go to $200 dollars a barrel - or more. Having said all that, Israel is mad enough to do anything rather than actually engage in meaningful discussions to establish peace between itself and the Palestinians. Remember the story about the fox and the scorpion?Israel is the scorpion that stings the fox even though stinging the fox means they’re both going to die - because it’s just the way scorpions are. Anything Netanyahu does at this point will simply be a bloody spectacle to keep himself in power as long as possible by pretending he’s ‘defending Israel’ when he’s actually ensuring its demise.

P. S. The entry of Jordanian airspace by IDF warplanes en route to Iran would be an act of war. The entry of Iraq airspace by IDF warplanes en route to Iran would not only be an act of war but also a violation of the SOFA agreement between Iraq and the USA. Here are the pertinent articles:

Article 9

Sub 3. Surveillance and control over Iraqi airspace shall transfer to Iraqi authority immediately upon entry into force of this agreement (which was on January 1, 2009).

Sub 4. Iraq may request from the United States Forces temporary support for the Iraqi authorities in the mission of surveillance and control of Iraqi airspace.

In other words: the Iraqi Government must (because it does not have the means to do this) ask the US Government to down Israeli planes in Iraq airspace either without or with force if they penetrate Iraq airspace and President Obama would have to give our Air Force the order to do so or risk a huge uprising by Arab + Shiite people.

Permission, real or tacit, for overflight by President Obama alone is a violation of SOFA. One can argue that such permission is a war crime.

This is true regardless of what the target of the IDF planes is.

If El Maliki fails to ask for support while Israeli planes bomb Iran he will become Iraqi political toast if not worse.

I have been shown to be wrong at least for now. Ambassador Mitchell has stated that the Palestinians do not have to recognize a Jewish State of Israel as a pre-condition for talks. Wow! How daring! Ehud Barak is on his side.

The ball is now in Netanyahu’s court. Will he accept Obama’s position or stubbornly plow ahead with his plan for the permanent annexation of the West Bank (but not of Gaza)to fulfill the dream of Theodore Herzl?

It will be interesting what Obama will do if Netanyahu sort of stalls. The traditional Israeli response to being cornered is to begin a war or fake the imminence of war which thy are apparently doing right now. In Lebanon? Not likely. Syria? Not likely either. Iran? Needs US, Jordanian, and Iraqi permission for the overflight of Jordan and Iraq. Perhaps Israel can get permission to fly from Georgian airfields. Tbilisi is closer to Tehran than Tel Aviv but how would they get their planes to Georgia? How would they bribe the President of Georgia?

The Zionist strategy, supported by the US, is to turn the Palestinians into a “defeated people.”  This has usually be done under a fake Peace Process.  The current Natanyahoo, Lieberman regime wants to continue ethnic cleansing under of war against Iran, just as the American people are being deprived of their civil powers under the War on Terrorism.  Obama, a Zionist president, appears set to go along with the ethnic cleansing, and may go along with the war against Iran as well.

This is all disguised and concealed in the US by the Zionist media.

The new Government of Israel has concluded that the tough talk of President Obama is nothing but more of his trademark hot air. Obama may nix an attack on Iran if the Pentagon’s brass says no to the planned assault but he will never force the Israelis to accept a two-state solution which the new Israeli Government has already declared dead on arrival.
“Where is the fight?” asks the New York Times. Obama never intends to fight. He is said to be a pragmatist. Pragmatists never fight. They always accept sick compromises.

The following is a more sober analysis of new gimmick Netanyahu will play to gain time for creating more occupation facts in occupied Palestine!

Now Netanyahu seems to have a new gambit: diverting our attention from the ever-more- entrenched military occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip with an “economy first” approach to peace…”

A message to Jamal Dajani!

Don’t please complicate my blood pressure problem and further contribute to my deteriorating health by speculating on the so-called “Netanyahu deal.”

If you are in the business of informing and analyzing who Netanyahu is, why don’t you be straightforward and call a spade a spade by just affirming what he is: The terrorist-racist-fascist-in-chief of this scum entity called Israel!

Netanyahu’s Deal:  You Americans go to war with Iran for us in Israel, and we may withdraw from a few illegal settlements.  And you indigenous Palestinian people agree to be second-class on your own land.

Such a deal!

Netanyahu has one track in his mind and that is not about peace. Just take a close look at the make up of his cabinet, Avigador Lieberman as FM? These recent maneuvers are a ploy to delay talks and grab more Palestinian homes and land.
