‘Colbert Report’: Arma-gay-don LoomsPosted on Apr 17, 2009
Stephen Colbert is a big fan of the National Organization for Marriage’s “Gathering Storm” ad—“It is like watching ‘The 700 Club’ and The Weather Channel at the same time!” But now the storm is hovering over Colbert’s own state, and he’s getting nostalgic for more traditional times of yore. Are they Claiming that MD’s will not Treat Gay patients? Hippocratic oath?Sounds like some licenses need to be Revoked Now.
Report thisAnd considering who some of these ‘Churchs’ marry (LDS) I’m not so sure I agree with their Broad Definition of Marriage. Funny they never include the words “consenting Adults” in their proclamations of ‘Between a Man & a Woman’- Pray tell is a 12 yr old a ‘woman’, or how about the ones forced into ‘Arranged marriages’???
What the ‘Right’ has been so apt at is misleading people about their ‘cause’ through ommissions.
I suggest the ‘Right’ examine their own Defintion of marriage- currently it allows for child abuse and indentured slavery.

So far as my wife and I can figure out (as we lie together in bed, enjoying each other’s company after all these years) gay marriage will mean the couple around the corner (the ones with the gorgeous garden)
would marry, and…..I mean, we wouldn’t have to divorce, would we?
It’s like the “gay agenda,” which, I think, in my more fevered moments, means people sneak into my house, play Judy Garland on the audio system, and paint my bathroom aubergine and puce. Is that it?

And now we have Mel Gibson the great defender of the Catholic faith dumping his wife for a 24 year old. He must have the recently amended nine commandments version which gives a pass to 54 year olds hanging out with 24 year olds as long as they go to confession. Yea gay marriage is really a big threat to heterosexual marriage.
