‘Cat Shit One’: Blackwater Bunnies at War?Posted on Apr 7, 2009
Uh, so we’re not completely sure what to make of this trailer for the Japanese animated series “Cat Shit One” (?!), which features a specialized squad of mercenary sniper rabbits duking it out in the desert with turban-clad camels. Don’t be fooled by the cute-and-fluffy tail action—these bunnies are killing machines. YouTube: Version 1: No subtitles: Version 2: English subtitles make it all the more bizarre: Advertisement Elsewhere: . CommentsAre you a Truthdig member yet? Login now, or register with Truthdig. Isnt Blackwater “Xu” or “Xe” now?? Talk about your proverbial lipstick on a pig…or bunny…you know that these bunnies are animated, right? I figured you were kiddin…I noticed that, at the beginning, they said that “no animals were harmed”...
I also read that Erik Prince resigned (more like retried a billionaire). Triple Canopy is supposed to be only slightly better. I guess that if the military haed to provide its own security for “dignitaries” and such, they would have to draft those rich guys kids…

Wonder who trained these bunnies?
Report thisSchool of the Americas? Blackwater?
Maybe the lean mean fightin’ machine, Marines, Marines, Marines.
All the above have the word ‘KILL’ in common.

Use some “red” next time! Blood and guts flying around and splattering all over the shooters would add some realism.

Great, just in time for Easter. Reminds me of the Easter baskets WalMart sold 4-5 years ago, which included toy assault vehicles and military action figures.

I think I’ll keep a sharp eye pealed for the Easter Bunny this year…and more importantly, what he might leave behind, like trip wires behind the rose bush, or semtex filled colored eggs.

This is awesome! I think it’s inspired by parodies of Sven Hassel http://www.strategypage.com/humor/articles/military_jokes_200691721.asp

I can tell you what to make of it—it’s freaking awesome.
Replace the furry animals with humans, and it’s just another cut-scene from a first-person shooter. But with the furries, it’s a mind-phuck. Brilliant!
