Bill O’Reilly Gets NastyPosted on Mar 18, 2009
No one expects the former “Inside Edition” host and Fox News provocateur to be a class act, particularly not since he made his intentions with that falafel clear, but what Bill O’Reilly does with a pipe metaphor in this clip is just lame. Watch it here. Advertisement Previous item: 'Colbert Report': Take Out Your Pitchforks Next item: Amy Goodman and Robert Scheer: Should Geithner Step Down? CommentsAre you a Truthdig member yet? O’Reilly is rich; he is therefore evil. (“The rich are the scum of the earth in every country”—G. K. Chesterton.)

My I suggest TD, not try to compete with Comedy Central, this was very poor indeed. Tabloid type of news is taking over other news sources, let’s not see it happen here.

I agree with HSU… we all know O’Reilly is an ass but this kind of cheap tacky montage seems beneath Truthdig.

Bill, is just the type of person, that when push comes to shove, shows his true colours. These colours by the way are just the type that show what a true conservative is, a man just like any, except for the fact that he believes that he is G-d’s gift to the world and has the largest and most capacious brain in the whole world.
Report thisHe does not contain a capacious brain, for among the neo-conservative blowhards and bloviators, he is the most narrow-minded and prejudiced of them. He makes El-Rushbo, look like a saint. His form of interview can only be described as attack journalism, and worse is not even journalism, for he is the ‘master of the universe,’ a legend in his own mind, with the intellectual capacity of a ‘denebian slime devil.’
Mr. Conason, thank you for such a cogent and concise article regarding the effete and ineffective intellects of the Far Right Wing Nuts.

I expect more from Truthdig. This video clip is tacky and doesn’t compliment the insightful journailist truthdig features.
