Disagreement abounds on this week’s episode of “Left, Right & Center,” especially when it comes to President Obama’s budget plan and the origins of the economic crisis it’s intended to remedy. Who’s the moderator again? And is Bobby Jindal done for?

Someone should tell Tony B to look up the definition of argumentum ad hominem.  If Matt was guilty of anything it was the guilt-by-association fallacy, but even that’s a stretch. Interesting that Blankley, even when entirely wrong, sounds so completely self possessed. What a gift. I’ll have remind myself to listen with a little more caution in the future.

Micah

Obama’s proposed defense budget is increased by 4%.

It now depends on the Congress whether they will accept this and if so whether they will make any demands on swifter withdrawal from Iraq and a clear-cut “end-game” in Afghanistan.

When Mr, Bush was president the house passed several bills with demands on a time line for withdrawal from Iraq but these bills stalled in the Senate. If the Congress does not make any demands on Mr. Obama that will become known as the summit of hypocrisy in our hypocrisy-filled history

Will we ever cut the military budget? If I see a significant cut, at least 25%, in my lifetime I will eat my shirt.
